Clean but noisy

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: It needs a serious overhaul decor wise and windows need to be replaced so the gusting wind doesn't deter sleep.
Location: There weren't any good restaurants or things to do near by. It is in a shady, uninteresting area.
Upon arrival in our room there was a very loud whistling noise. We realized after a few minutes it was coming from the wind that was whipping through the duct tape that was holding the heating and cooling unit to the wall so asked for a new room. We were given a new room immediately which we thought was less noisy at first. However once es came back from a dinne, we found out this room had a lousy whistle as well and the walls were paper thin. We could hear people on either side of us, word for word, we could hear someone playing music at 4 a.m. And we could hear someone's alarm going off at 5 am for over an hour. Also, we needed our daughter's milk warmed before bed and no one in the attached Denny's or hotel would help us.

Hotel Ok

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: the location, the staff was friendly, security at night time, free parking,
Cons: update the hotel rooms and tv, the elevators, hot tub in the pool area, the ac and heat unit needs to updated,
Location: walking distance to the casino and down town.
Well they need to update this hotel. The heater in the room was loud and couldn't leave on because of that. The Elevators are needed replacement because they are slow and they posted a sign that they can only hold 6 people at a time and that is bad in my eyes. The heated pool wasn't so heated and was ok plus they should add a hot tub to the pool area and they have room for it, the sauna had a lock on it and wasn't usable due to probably health code.. the price of the room was good and the staff was great and friendly. the lobby was updated and looked new but the rooms need a make over. the room was quite and that is a bonus. free parking was also a great. they also need to make sure the bathroom was fully stocked. no face cloths and no hair dryer. I have been in many of hotels and they all had hair dryers. this one did not. the TV was also outdated and the cable sucked. most of the channels couldn't watch because the TV was blurry. LCD and led TVs are cheap now and they could get some. the location was great walking distance to down town and to the casino witch was good. didn't have to drive everywhere..

Hotel near rainbow bridge but not very good shape

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: near the bridge
Cons: Renovation and add more parking spaces
Location: Nothing besides of the fall
Unless you have to stay near the bridge, there is no reason to stay at this hotel. Nothing around the area. Not enough parking space. There was only about 25 parking spaces in the lot. I was asked to park at the Denny's parking nearby. It was a little afraid to park at a dark corner in such ghost city. Unfortunately, the parking lot at Denny was also full. I had to wait 40 minutes and very lucky one car left. Room was ok clean. But the room door and other stuff were very old and rusted.

Overnite @ Niagara Falls

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Price. Good value for the money. Room was clean & comfortable. Had a view of Canada.
Cons: The lobby area needs a remodel. Not alot of parking space on site. We had to park across the street.
Location: Great location for visiting the Falls or going to the casino. Well within walking distance.
We met up with 5 other couples who stayed at a nearby hotel closer to the casino. We decided not to pay the extra money as we were fine to walk the 3 blocks to the casino. Had a great time.

Needs some proper maintenance

Posted Feb 9, 2015
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Some maintenance work.
Overall, for room was okay, just okay. Here are the issues: 1. We stayed in room 622 and the HVAC unit was not properly attached to the main case. This resulted in air from outside coming inside the room, when the unit was not running. 2. The tub had deep dirt on it and I tried to remove them but could not. 3. The curtains were off the hook on some parts. Maybe just needed to be hooked up properly only.

Close to the Falls, Close to Casino

Posted Feb 2, 2015
Pros: Like very much that the windows open! And you can get a smoking room in this hotel, If you aren't a smoker, avoid the 4th floor.
Cons: upgrade elevators, make sure all pop machines are working
Location: It's a good location - just across the border, so the Falls are very close. The casino is a 5 minute walk.
At least part of the hotel has been recently renovated and the rooms are quite clean and comfortable. The mechanicals need to be upgraded though - slow elevators, not great water pressure in rooms. I noticed that on the website, they indicate a fee for 'self parking', which is new and I don't think that it was indicated back when I booked my room. The hotel did not charge for parking, but it's a bit worrying that they seem to be leaving their options open.
