“good no-frills motel”

bare bones, but great deal for the price. it's right by a bus station, which takes you to Pentagon Stn, but the ride takes a little while. so if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and don't mind a little bit of a commute, this is a decent place. also, Expedia listed this as being in Arlington, but it's really in Alexandria, which takes a bit longer to get to

“Great Hotel for the Money”

First, let's frame this as it should be: you get what you pay for in DC. For DC, this hotel generally has a bargain rate and for that you get a decent, clean, convenient hotel with the added benefit of easy parking and a mini-kitchen. The location is convenient to the city and shopping and dining options. There is no easy access to public transit, but if you can drive, you are within 10-15 minutes of the city (depending on traffic#. I've stayed here twice and both times it was fine. The lobby is clean and nicely kept, the room was spacious, and generally very clean. You also get free wifi, which is a nice perk--in many area hotels, expect to pay $15-20 extra for that #on top of a $100+ more each night for the room). I spent one night here in order to get to a conference the next morning. My next night was in the Mayflower, which is many stars above this place. If I'd been paying the bill, I'd have definitely stayed at the Extended Stay and spent less on two nights than one night at the Mayflower; for $200+ extra each night, it's not that much better in most respects. All that said, keep in mind that you won't get a four star hotel for just over $100 in the DC area, so go in knowing what you are getting. The rooms are clean but no frills, with basic appointments and jintzy towels and sheets. There's no restuarant. But for a small family or short business stay, this place is ideal for the price. You can pay much more and get very little extra for it--I highly recommend it.

“It was adequate”

It was adequate for a one-night stay. Television was very small. No shampoo available. The efficiency kitchen in the room was an added plus if one stayed longer

“not returning to this hotel”

The rooms reapairs were low quality. the bathroom sink looked like it was going to fall off the wall. This hotel has not been updated in some time and has small tv with horrible picture. I travel to the area alot and will not be booking at this hotel again.

“Terrible”

The service was terrible, Usually when you arrive at a hotel to stay at with reservations the doors should be open but no i had to use a telephone to call the front desk. My room just smelled dirty and looked dirty, plus there was crap all over the floor seemed like they didn't even clean it except the beds were very clean, the bathroom was sooo nasty. I will not be staying here every again

“Hated this place”

Non smoking rooms stunk of cigarette smoke. Smoke alarm in room was covered by platic bag, when brought to staff attention it still was not removed. I would not stay at this establishent again if you paid me to do so.
