Cons: Breakfast at the hotel would been a really good improvement, also get rid of dirty spots on beds. It smells really weird in the hallways..
Location: Location is allright. Close to the beach, but it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Waikiki center.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. For a 2 starts hotel, I think this is an excellent choice. Some in the hotel staff was not nice at all, but this was not the case for everyone. The bed had some dirty spots, which was not so pleasing. We loved that the hotel had grills, so we could cook our own food some nights. Also the rooms had microwave, coffee machine and a little fridge. Overall, very pleasantly surprised!

Location: Short walk to beach,quick exit for sightseeing shopping neerby and restaurants
Good location. Short walk to Hilton lagoon. No Staff at desk 1/3 times ,overbrearing parking staff, Nice elevators, needs paint,new flooring, ceilings bathrooms,ice machines and new furniture and this place wood be a four star. Price is great for a budget has nice pool sun deck,canal,mountain and city views. Close to restaurant,shopping and a quick way out for sightseeing . This hotel is a mix of renters owners and travelers, the residents were nice and helpful. This hotel served our needs , we left early ,used it as a base and returned late ,washed the sand off slept and repeated untill we checked out . Had a great time in Honolulu.

Depressing over priced lodging at edge of Waikiki

Pros: Some of the employees were pleasant. Room has microwave and frig. View of mountains is pleasant.
Cons: Check in time isn't till 3 PM If this is a functioning hotel it needs a total renovation to merit the relatively high rates.
Location: Overpriced brunch restaurant in lobby caters to Japanese tourists. Food is ok. Open 6 days a week. Only part of hotel that looks pleasant.
This is mid 70s construction, a condominium with some hotel rooms. It is shabby and has the ambience of a single room occupancy hotel on Manhattan's West Side in the 70s or early 80s. The carpets are filthy, the mattress needs replacement, the bath tub was peeling and the tv didn't receive at least one basic channel. Far from beach. One bus route nearby but bus to Ala Moana is a bit far.

Pros: Location. Security. Pool and jacuzzi. Price. Japanese and Korean tourists in the hotel were quiet and polite, but some of my Caucasian cousins less so
Cons: Free WIFI or a decent per week (biweekly,monthly) rate. Clean up the lounge downstairs; it scares the decent folks away. Replace some reception staff.
Staying for the first time in this hotel and given the price, we did not expect to be great and it wasn't. However, it did not fall too far down from the expectations. The room was decent. At the 15th floor, we had a good view of the ocean. The bed was old and bad. It was good to have the pool and the jacuzzi. Our floor was quiet which was a surprise given the roudy, drunken customers of the billiard lounge at the ground floor. Maybe the good security in the hotel had something to do with that. Room care was OK. The sheets were changed daily as were the towels. However, the maids sometimes forgot to clean the table. No WIFI in the room-not good. WIFI for $7.00/day-not good. We were within comfortable walking distance to the beach, some parks, Ala Moana shopping centre, Walmart, Ross, the downtown, the Honolulu Art Museum, golf course and a bunch of other points of interest. The downtown and Waikiki were clean and interesting to travel on foot. Beautiful trees, plants and birds. We liked the ethnic diversity. Weather was good and the water was warm. We plan to visit again soon.

Pros: not over croweded
Location: well was about 1 1/2 blocks away from the beach and a block of way from wiakki strip., shopping ,food and the beach are all within minutes.
when i was there it was quiet and clean. relaxing. air was working fine, shower worked well with hot water.

Pros: 1) Location. Close proximity to Waikiki's busy streets 2) Room views: my room on the 20th floor had nice view of the Diamondhead Cons: 1) Dated hotel interiors that seriously need renovation 2) Wifi is NOT complementary. In order to get wifi in your room, you have to rent a modem for a daily charge, plug it in your room and then access the internet. They have limited number of modems and they often run out of them, Hence a waiting list, just to get a modem. 3) Parking is twenty per day: And all cash. Can't' be prorated on an hourly basis.

Pros: The bed and bathroom were clean in the 2nd room. The original desk clerk was the only one who was not helpful originally. The others were terrific.
Cons: A mayor paint job
Location: Pearl Harbour, public bus stops, reasonable eating places
The desk clerk was not very friendly originally. When we went to our room the carpet was badly soiled and marked and when a different room was requested I was told none was available. I said that was fine and I would contact Expedia to cancel the three nights before the cruise and the two nights after our cruise. All of a sudden another room was available and the attitude of the desk clerk changed quickly. When we received our new room the carpet was ok. The hotel and our room was extremely clean.
