Pros: Loved relaxing in the pool and having drinks at the poolside bar. The staff were very energetic and fun with in-pool exercise classes.
Cons: Definitely needs a new volleyball. Very hard mattress in our room-no movement at all.
Great chance to meet regional vacationers and practice our Spanish as they tried to communicate with us. Very friendly people.

Nice View, but horrible hotel

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The beach was nice
Bed-felt like concrete. too spread out. we were in the part that didn't honor the all inclusive, which i was not aware of when i booked. Huge walk to get to the all inclusive part. most places weren't open, the hotel staff does nothing to make your stay more enjoyable, had to figure out everything out on our own, where to go, what was open, which night, etc. If you don't speak Spanish, not the place to go. They have turned completely non-English speaking which was really a disappointment. Had conversations with people that had been there before, and they agreed, this is not a good place to stay for foreigners. they want to cater to their Panamanian crowd only! will never stay there again. In fact, I was looking at buying a condo there, but will look elsewhere. felt the whole place was un-friendly.

Good benefits for the cost

Posted Feb 3, 2015
This is not the best all inclusive resort in Panama. You can have better rooms and better food in other places. But, if you are looking for a good place at an affordable price, this is a nice place to stay. Staff is very friendly, they have a nice pool and food is Ok. Rooms need maintenance.

Only give it a chance if traveling with kids

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The artifical lagoon, play yards. Food quality was good. Not excellent, but better than standard all inclusive
Cons: all. If they just take 10 seconds (not even a minute) to observe any of the services / installations they offer, they will improve them
Location: not much.
I visit the hotel with my wife and 2 kids (Our ages: 38,35, 5 &3). Thanks good a couple days before going, I upgrade my reservation to "luxury suite". The hotel has 2 sections, the main resort and the Town Center Building (where the luxury suites are) Those staying at the L.S. has access to the "lagoon" (an artificial pool big as a lagoon) the most comfortable and enjoyable part of the hotel. They have a couple of play yards and water toboggans that kids love! They spent all the day playing while we can rest on the artificial beach. Also the "Luxury" gives you internet access for free. Besides that, the rest of the resort does not worst the money. We have the chance to look into one of the stndard rooms: dirties, old, with moisture fungi on walls and roof.... and the worst of all, they are just a couple of meters away from the main pool, discoteque, or buffet restaurant. The shows are terrible. They have one for kids everyday at 8:30... The third night my kids beg me not to take them to the show "they just sing the same song every night..." Terrible!

General overview decay

Posted Jan 24, 2015
In a comparison basis, we experienced a service and physical facilities decay as per our visit in 2011. We are aware that food is not supposed to be gourmet in an all inclusive scheme, however we didnt expect that much of the food tasted so bad in many cases. The rooms looked dirty, in general it appears to be a maintenance issue.

Hotel in need of facelift...

Posted Jan 16, 2015
to start all the beds need to be replaced...we were in two rooms, because they did not have our original room when we arrived, they tried to convince us that the first small room was the room we reserved. They did switch us out the next day, but the beds were equally as uncomfortable. They feel like springs and card boards. There was serious shower scum on the glass doors.

Check in needs to be worked. No smile. After a 2, 5 hours to get to the hotel you need to check in. But once it was our turn, the told us that we need to check in in an other part of the hotel. Hotel is in 2 parts Over there they had a reservation for only one night. We were asked to send an email to their reservation desk to prove we had 2 nights. But you have to pay 20$ to have a 24h access to WiFi! 2-3 times woke up because of a alarm in the corridor and drunk people getting to their room Buffet food is ok. But the staff needs to learn what service is all over the world today. Never got a smile or a hello (hola). Disappointing....

Horrible Service

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: All the mentioned above.
Location: Nothing to do near by.
The service is horrible at the restaurants and at the front desk. I do not recommend this hotel at all. The plates in the restaurants were most of the time dirty, and the line to get into the restaurants were long. The food was bad. Also, there was no internet available a couple days I was there. They have karaoke activities until 1am, therefore, you cannot sleep because of the noise. The staff is useless/clueless.

Bad stay

Posted Jan 5, 2015
My family and like The beach, that was awsome, but not The hotel. When we arrives, The counter attendant told that we have Two rooms when we booked 1 for Two adults and Two children, did we Pay more? In The room, The walls were with humidity and The mirror broken, but The worst was during check out time where we have to go 6 floors down by stairs because the lift was out of order.

Would go back if customer service improved

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Hotel and amenities were great, but I wouldn't go back, seems like the attendants at the lobby and the buffet restaurant didn't get any training in customer service, its like the customer is an inconvenience, acted rude and bothered when we asked for anything, its like they were forced to work for free, and that wasn't just us that noticed the service, several others did. And no smiles, no sense of urgency, no sense of care. Also, was annoying constantly being stopped by personnel trying to sale apartments in the resort, they should have a visible office for people to inquire if they want know more about the sales. The only ones that treated the customers with a warm welcome and warm good bye was the attendants carrying our bags.
