Cute and Modernly Quaint!

Posted Nov 20, 2014
I loved my stay at Hotel Eiffel Rive! However, they were doing some construction during my stay and so I woke up to loud pounding too early in the morning. Otherwise, this hotel was lovely and I would definitely book again if I go back to Paris.

Nice little Parisian Hotel

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: upper level access. they have a lift but you still have to go up a few sets of stairs to the rooms, not convenient for older guests.
Location: Short walk to Eiffel tower and Invalids
Tiny little hotel room, but i believe all trough Paris hotels are very small. Still a very pleasant room, clean, all we really needed. hotel is a short walk from Eiffel Tower and invalids and close to the metro.

Nice hotel blocks from Eiffel

Posted Nov 2, 2014
This is a nice, very comfortable, and in a good area hotel for the value. It's surrounded with good restaurants, bakeries, & grocery stores. La Notre for very good, to die for macarons nearby, just off the metro. Superb place. I will return.

Weekend trip in Paris

Posted Oct 21, 2014
I went to Paris for the weekend and checked into the hotel on Sarurday morning. The guy at the reception was extremely unattached and not friendly. He seemed irritated and bored. However the location is amazing so I would recommend it for a short stay. The rooms are tiny but clean. The guy during checkout was much nicer so maybe depends who you get.

Great location.

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Staff were great, very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. They all spoke very good English.
Cons: A safe in the room would be beneficial. Some form of soundproofing would also help as we could hear other guest through the walls.
Location: Perfect location! Easy access to the beautiful land marks and lovely restaurants.
Very noisy early in the morning due to deliveries, bin men etc.......Then again ,that is expected being located right in the heart of Paris. Room small but sufficient.

Didn't Even Stay At This Hotel

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Stylish, very modern, staff was pleasant.
Cons: Cramped rooms.
Location: About a 30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower if you're a slow walker, which I am.
I arranged a shuttle from the airport (by the way, check the rates before you book, as mine was significantly higher than what is posted on Expedia) and after the shuttle left I went to check in at the hotel. And was told that my room had flooded and I would be moved to their sister hotel via taxi at their expense. Fine, except I booked this hotel for it's proximity to the Eiffel Tower. They did throw in a free breakfast though. It was probably another 1/3 mile further from the tower. I stayed in their sister hotel, which was nice, but itty bitty. I mean, there was about a foot wide space to make it around the bed and in to the bathroom, which was also small. The shower was probably 2.5 feet by 2.5 feet, and slid open when you bumped against it, so water got everywhere when I showered. Also, if anyone above me flushed the toilet or ran the water, I could hear EVERYTHING, so I felt sorry for the people who were even lower than I was. The hotel itself was clean and well-kept and very stylish -- just small and not what I had requested. The staff was excellent and so nice, and gave me detailed directions back to the tower. Would not recommended because it was too small, but if you're a very small person or okay with cramped living quarters, it was okay.

Very nice hotel

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Quiet, clean, nice staff
Location: Eiffel towel
Very nice hotel in quiet neighborhood only 3 minute walking distance to Eiffel towel and 5 minutes to metro station Ecole Militaire (Number 8, pink line). Nice neighborhood with a lot of charming cafes and bistros. The staff was very helpful and polite. Room and bathroom were cleaned every day with a fresh clean towels.
