Great Location - Not really a resortPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Location is great, especially if you like northern part of Scottsdale. Pool area is large, clean and quiet.
Cons: Check-Out time at noon would be fair. Also, if it is really necessary to have reception 15-20 minutes from the condo, that should be clearly stated.
It was a surprise that reception and the actual Condo were 15 to 20 minutes apart. Not to add that Check-In time 3p and Check-Out time 10a leaves you very little time to actually enjoy your Condo if you go just for a weekend. This would work for longer period but weekend travellers should find something else. Staff was nice however and response time was fast. I wouldn't recommend to a friend.

It's an occupied apartment complex!Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Spacious, well stocked
Cons: Pool,gym,noise level....false advertising
Location: Pretty far out
Well, we loved the space in the unit and it was well supplied. However, I am struggling to come up with a justification to call this a resort. It is an apartment complex with many inhabitants! We were awakened each morning by extremely loud landscapers at 6 am. I left quite exhausted and even the kids were woken up. There are no resort amenities. No gym, a frigid pool with no towels or service, and staff ( the people who are in the leasing office) look at you like you're nuts when you use the pool. It was freezing! Overall, pretty strange to "vacation" at an apartment complex. I don't think it should be advertised as a "condo resort." A great place if you need an apartment for a few days but certainly not a relaxing resort.

Cons: The bed.
Nice condo, well appointed. Liked the proximity to the pool. We were on the bottom unit and didn't hear anyone above or next to us. The only thing I would change is the bed. It is actually two twins put together to make a king size bed.

Good location in north ScottsdalePosted Aug 4, 2014
A good sized unit for big family. We did run into a number of issues: the freezer is not cold enough to keep the ice cream bars solid; the house phone cannot make calls - it asked me to deposit money in Magic Jacket but did not tell me how; the internet works but won't allow me to connect through corporate VPN - the connection drops after 15 seconds. I tried the neighbor's internet VPN compatibility, which worked just fine. Called the service desk on the issues the 2nd day, but the issues were never fixed in the week that we stayed there.

Nice, but...Posted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Condo complex nice, but unit had trash from prior tenants under couch and bed. Would have liked to have gatehouse manned a little later than 6pm. Covered parking was nice perk in sunny AZ. Pool had adjacent "beach" and sandy volleyball area, enjoyed by my grandsons.

This was a good home base. Stayed here for 3 nights with 6 people. Had a 3 bedroom. Plenty of room. Beds were very very comfortable! The only downfall was the 2 sets of stairs, one set to get in...i think about 10...that got you to the nain floor with 1 bedroom and full bath, the kitchen and living room. Then another 10 stairs to the other 2 bedrooms. We did love the fact there was 3 full bathrooms...one attached to each bedroom!! Very safe neighborhood! !

Booked to be in Scottsdale - not even close. Condo not warm and friendly - It actually felt like a vacant condo with limited furnishing - dirty - windows were so dirty we had to wash them - hallways were horrible! We were located by Desert Ridge - way north of where we wanted to be - would not stay again!

Had such a great time. Absolutely loved it.Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Our condo was perfect.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Near everything. Perfect location. We chose one outside of downtown Scottsdale. We were 15 minutes from downtown. Also close to freeways.
Couldn't ask for a better vacation. Hotel was clean. Safe area. Well groomed landscaping. Clean pool; great tennis courts. Everyone was very helpful. Just loved it. Can't wait to go back. Thinking about doing it again next year.

Great value for the off-season ratesPosted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: Pool, floor plan, price at the off-season rates
Cons: Maybe providing some "pool" towels?
Location: Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Square are just down the way with shopping and restaurants. We don't golf, but there were a number of golf courses.
We were attending a funeral and picked a three bedroom unit to allow 3 couples to share space. The unit was clean, relatively modern in appearance and fixtures. We seriously enjoyed the pool area. Even though the rental office was some distance from the actual condo, the drive was not that bad. It is very close to some fine restaurants and shopping, so there was plenty to do. (Plug for the "The Greene House" restaurant in Kierland Commons.) While we did not wash any clothes, the dryer was great for getting the towels and swim suits dry after swimming. We did use the kitchen to cook some meals. If we had had more time, I would have liked to use the gas grills in the common area. All in all, it worked out perfectly for us.
