Lots not to love

Cons: Better trained staff, updated rooms
Location: near shopping
3 problems - 1 huge, 2 not so much. The 4 pillows on the bed were so thin that they barely equaled 1 pillow. The desk chair was too big for the small room and blocked the heater - on a night that had below zero temperatures. My biggest issue, and why I will never book at a Days Inn again, was upon check-in the desk clerk not only announced my room number and also pointed as to its location. Not a problem if I was the only guest checking in but there was another guest waiting behind me. Not cool, Days Inn.

Not bad. Good for the money. They are making improvements. Putting fresh paint on walls & new floors in bathrooms. Diner right next door & others close by. They did make good on a room mix - up that was no fault of their's.

Shabby, cheap tiny desk, worn and dirty carpet, dim fluorescent light over the sink. Will never use this place again.

I accidentally left a Netflix movie. They said that I needed to call UPS or FedEx to get it back. They refused to just send it to me even though I offered to pay for it. Lousy service. The tub in the bathroom had deep gouges in it that looked dirty. The chair to the desk had a wheel that kept coming off, causing the chair to tip over when I used it. One plus... the internet was decent.

Location: Near fast food & Target, Primanti's, gas, King's, Dunkin Donuts
Lobby was torn up during our stay as they were re-tiling it. Room seemed clean but very run down. Cigarette burn holes in both bedspreads, very stained carpet, mold & missing tile between floor and shower. Bathtub was stained (or needed a vigorous scrub with bleach.) Mattresses & pillows were comfortable and linens were clean, but I did not walk barefoot in the room during my stay.

Dazed Inn

I was led to believe that this hotel was smoke free and was put in a smoking room smelled terrible. Windows were dirty as was the rug. Phone didn't work. Clock was not plugged in and when it was the alarm didn't work. Newly renovated rooms should be listed as new coat of paint. Lobby staff was not to interested in check in or out when you could find them. Will not stay there in the future.

I got what I paid for. The room was adequate and the people working there were polite. I only stayed one night though, I would not stay there for more than that.
