The front staff was super friendly. Decent breakfast with good options. My room was clean but I did find a wet towel inside the shower floor. I put it outside the shower. Not a deal breaker.

The property was welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly. They went above our expectations with showing congratulations to our son for a NFL Pro Day, we were up there for. We will definitely stay again, if ever in the area!!

We made a last minute reservation and had a pleasant stay at the Penn Stroud. Its a kid friendly hotel and great casual place to stay if visiting Stroudsburg area. We were celebrating a family birthday over the weekend. The management went out of its way to send a personalized birthday card and gourmet cupcakes to the room on learning about the occasion. Thank you so much and we will re-visit on our next trip to the area.

A bit of an odd spot - not sure why it is so highly rated. Felt a bit like a long term stay place. A little sketchy. Parking in the back also sketchy but free. I left early and there was no staff, just a sign on the desk. It was uncomfortable walking to my car alone with no one around. Breakfast didn't start until 7am or 7:30am so I missed out. All the other hotels I've stayed in, breakfast starts at 6am. The place is huge so it was quite a hike to my room. Also, they put me facing the street and there was a street light right outside the window. Woke at 2am thinking it was day, even with the blackout drapes. The main street is very busy until late but there are lots of places to eat and a movie theatre.

When we stay in Stroudsburg for concerts we have been staying here rather than the Hampton because of location and cleanliness. My only complaints are that the rooms on the Main St side get street traffic noise and there is no in house bar, restaurant, coffee spot. Vending machines contain drinks only which is a bummer. This place has been restored nicely.

Booked a few rooms as a birthday surprise for my husband and his friends. The hotel called me a few days before to confirm rooms and asked if it was a special occasion. When my husband arrived in his room they had a personalized card and cupcakes which made the surprise even better! The hotel rooms were roomy and clean. The hotel is close to restaurants and bars. It was just a 15 minute drive to Camelback for skiing. We definitely will be back!

Best in the area
The people that work here are so nice it makes me sad that I have to go back for real life with normal people. The employees here and really the entire town are Pleasant and welcoming but this is the nicest hotel I've stayed in the area
