Iberostar Grand Bavaro was amazing resort for us. The Grand experience is what makes the difference (upgraded food and drink) and you get assigned a private concierge who gets you whatever you request. In our trip Edvardo helped us a lot with our requests and also Dahianna helped us to book events quickly.

My wife and I had a fabulous time. This was our first time staying at an Iberostar resort and we were very impressed. The grounds were immaculately groomed and clean. Having a personal butler/concierge was fantastic. Eduardo and Valentine were very helpful and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and have a positive experience.

Everybody was friendly, food could have been a little better but we live around a good restaurant area at the beach. You have to get a Butler, Edward and Danilo were on point with all our needs. The staff throughout entire resort was friendly and accommodating. Beach was very clean and pools were great but make sure you get out there early to claim a Cabana, if you want one.

The workers here are top notch. We we were treated like family since the moment we got there. They appreciate you for being there with a very genuine heart. If you go, shaggy in the entertainment is an absolute gem and really made our trip for us. Be sure to always tip the entertainment if they make you feel special.

THE BEST HOTEL IN PUNTA CANA!!! This hotel is break taking soon as you touch foot on the property. The staff are all beyond friendly and they are literally their to ensure you have to want for nothing. We had an amazing ocean view room with butler service. Good: - The hotel grounds are very pretty, especially at night. - The food was good, we especially liked the buffets. - The pool, swim-up bar, and cabanas were nice and relaxing. - Housekeeping was top-notch, came twice a day and left us "towel sculptures" with flowers No-so-good: - The beach was full of algae and there were no aquatic activities available other than paid excursions - The theater, main bar (inside the ship), and lagoon were all closed for renovations - The dinner buffet was only open 1 night - The evening entertainment was mostly just musicians - Our "butler service" was pretty mediocre (unable to make us dinner reservations, brought us wine without a bottle opener, etc.) Bad: Upon check-in, the hotel staff scheduled us for a "special welcome breakfast" and "free massage". The "special welcome breakfast" was actually the usual breakfast buffet but accompanied by a hotel salesperson who gave you some sales pitch over breakfast! Fortunately we suspected something like this was coming and asked if we could skip the "welcome breakfast". This made the hotel staff look at each other nervously, say "well we can't give you the free massage if you don't do this", but eventually let us go. Then the same hotel staff who was overly friendly at check-in wouldn't even say hi after that. This kind of devious sales BS at a supposed "all-inclusive" resort is unacceptable!

Estuve hace diez 10 añoshospedado en este Hotel y fue una experiencia 5 estrella , esta vez no puedo decir lo mismo , este hotel necesita un upgrade, se nota un deterioro en los muebles y habitaciones. A su vez en la calidad de alimentos, sobre todo en el asiático la experiencia no fue muy grata, el chef está más en hacer payasadas y poniendo a los huéspedes a hacer el ridículo que pendiente a la experiencia culinaria, si uno quiere ver payasadas uno va a un circo, no a un rest, la comida quedó cruda , el pollo, los camarones y la langosta , a causa de esto. Otra cosa debieran fumigar , no diré porque Espero que mis consejos sean de bien para el futuro de los que decidan hospedarse

Overall, average. Not exceptional. Rooms small, air conditioning in spa didn’t work. Food was good not amazing. Many things closed on nights they should have been open. Robert my butler was not attentive. Didn’t do any of the things advertised as butler services.

I had a wonderful time at a Iberostar grand Bavaro. This was my first ever solo trip, and I felt safe and comfortable at this resort. All the staff was amazing, very friendly. My butler, Eduardo, was excellent. All the food at the restaurant was great and upscale. The Buffet was good for breakfast and lunch, but only OK for dinner. I recommend you do dinner at the restaurants. Please tip these hard working people! They deserve it.
