Pros: nothing
Cons: The yard and the rooms.
From the outside it looked like it had been vacant for some time. Weeds growing around the bricks in the walkway. The place was shabby, burn marks and stains in the carpet. The bed was clean and comfortable, although when we moved the bedspread off it had burn marks on the inside. WE DIDN'T STAY IN A SMOKING ROOM. The tub needed to be replaced, very stained. The grout around the tub needed cleaning. We paid too much and I won't stay in another Super 8 without looking at it first. unfortunately we had already paid for this one.

We arrive late at night and were tired so we don't care about anything else, but the following morning was a bad day to start.. The continental breakfast was really bad, it was the worst continental breakfast i have ever had in a hotel or motel. And No ready coffee on the breakfast area, you have to make your own in your room.. But if your looking for a cheap place to have a night or two, i guess this will be good for you..

The room needs updating and the worst thing was I was in room 123 and there was no hot water for me to take a shower in the evening and in the morning due to the one hot tank shared by four rooms as I asked the owner there. There is no restaurant linked to the hotel as well. Make sure you get a room away from the picnic tables and guest and workers like to drink and talk outside till the late hours.

Most disrespectful hotel i have ever stayed in

Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything, But most;y the staff
Front desk staff very disrespectful and rude, had room booked for 3 nights my room was not cleaned nor towels provided, when desk manager was asked why the room was not cleaned I was told "most people dont want the room cleaned" was made to feel as i was an inconvience on check in..

I found the room not overly clean, breakers blew in the morning when getting ready and the breakfast was just okay.

Pros: not to busy. beds were ok. lots of hot water and pressure for the shower
Cons: needs to improve the noise off the highway. needs a face lift
Location: we went to the near by gold town of barkerville. very nice time. lots for the kids to do. working restored gold town. skits, shows, gold panning, fun
only stayed the one night, passing through. little over priced for the location. very noisy on the highway. no restaurant. older motel in need of a facelift. beds ok. shower had lots of pressure and hot water.
