looks ok on the exterior but on the inside it is run down and in need of upgrades and cleaning. Beds are very uncomfortable.

Nice room but appalling hallways and stairwells

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Cons: Replace the hall carpets and clean up the stairwells.
I stayed here in 2009 and it was ok at that time. I was surprised at how the public spaces had deteriorated so much since then . The hallway carpeting was disgusting as were the stairwells. The elevator was doubtful at times. The room however was clean although the linens seemed a bit tired. I would not advise anyone to stay there.

Not Very Nice Hotel

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Nothhing
Cons: Clean it up, clean or replace carpets in hallway and room, place looked like a war zone almost scary.
I was very disappointed in this Baymont, it was not very nice, the hotel is very run down, the carpets in the hallways are filthy, the over all condition of the Hotel was very bad, the room was OK and it was clean. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are on a tight budget and there is no where else to stay. I have stayed at other Baymont's and they were nice and clean, good middle of the road hotels. This one looked like a war zone, almost scary.

Pros: location to objective and airport
Cons: overall condition of hallways, room carpet, and lack of refill on towels in the room, Kleenex, and toilet paper... better Wi-Fi connection
Location: casinos, food, tattoo parlor
it was ok, not as clean and professional as previous stays at Baymont's in other locations

Same distance as GSR from anything. Half the price

I'm well aware that this is a refurbished place and not the nicest in town but the staff was awesome and they seem to be trying to change their image with the new facelift and attitude. Not one single issue with complaining about from me.

Dirty dirty dirty

The bathtub had body hair in it! Gross. I pulled back the comforter and there were grey blondish hair all over the sheets, they obviously were NOT washed and neither was the bathtub. I did let front desk know and was changed to a different room. The carpets in the room are so dirty, I wore my sandals that's how uncomfortable I felt.

Mediocre at best

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: Personnel okay and friendly.
Cons: Hot showers, better breakfast selection, clean facilities.
Location: Reno, NV, casinos
Friendly personnel, lukewarm/cold showers (other people complained too), WIFI did not work well, overall facility "grungy", the breakfast was poor but they said you can go to the hotel next to it (same owner) and the breakfast much better.

We stayed on the non smoking floor, the carpet in the hallway was badly stained, so it was unattractive from the get go. The room was nice, & the bed was super comfy. They serve a free breakfast, which was delish. Some food choices were waffles, eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, fruit, & cereal. We stayed two nights, but the maid service didn't replace any soaps or shampoo & their towels were mis-matched, super rough & thin. Other than the outward appearance of the building, which was nice, I wouldn't say that this hotel was all that different from a Motel 6. In all, it was fine, but I wouldn't book with this hotel again.
