We had an excellent experience at the Anastasia Princess. The staff was very friendly and knew us all by name. The help they provided in experiencing the island was wonderful. The rooms were well kept and nicely decorated. The pools were beautiful. While the hotel is not directly on the beach, it is only a quick walk around the corner to the black sand beach. Having travelled to the other areas on the island which seemed to be much more crowded, we were very happy with our choice. In addition, our friends who had decided to stay elsewere were so impressed with the hotel and staff that they moved to our hotelonce a room was available.

We visited Rocabella near the end of the season in late October and had a wonderful time. We had a sea view room and the panorama of the sunset each night was superb. We were celebrating a special occasion and the staff were very welcoming. Our room was very special with a hot tub that was lit blue in the evenings and was a great surprise as we arrived. The room was huge with table and chairs, massive bed and a sofa, all decorated in white. Wide screen TV. The ceiling had a circular sky area lit round the edges. It was so much more than we expected. Due to us celebrating they had supplied a bottle of wine for our arrival and on our special day a small bottle of fizz. The staff in the kitchen and reception were smiley and helpful at all time. I would advise anyone to go there for the hotel, staff and location. Easy to get to Oia or Fira.

Hotel had everything we needed and the staff were excellent. Weather could have been kinder but at least we were comfortable. Staff were very professional and attentive. Eleni was a star. The bar and the restaurant were very quiet but it was coming to the end of the season. The restaurant would be lovely to eat in summer but lacked ambience when we were there. The food was excellent but we felt in the darker nights it would have been better to close it and use the eating area where the breakfasts were held as that felt more like a restaurant. We would have eaten more at the hotel had it been in the other area as the Crocus restaurant felt like sitting in a dark glass box and hardly anybody using it. The breakfasts were excellent and there was plenty to choose from. The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard. Reception staff were brilliant and very helpful. We did the boat trip which cost 30 euros. Well worth doing. We also went to Oiea and found an excellent restaurant called Floga which was divine. We would have done loads more had the weather been better. It rained for the first time in 6 months when we were there! Santorini is very beautiful even though the wind was blowing at 30mph. Airport going out is a bit of a shock. Felt like cattle. No air conditioning and kept herded together in a tiny room with doors closed until aeroplane was ready. Would not have coped with it in the summer months.

We loved this hotel and would not hesitate to return. Our room was probably the best we have experienced in Greece - extremely comfortable , excellent wet room style shower room and a great view . The pool area is fantastic - lots of really comfortable sun beds ,and a superb view across the island. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection to choose from.
