Centrally located in the downtown

Pros: Location. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The hotel needs to renovate and upgrade it's carpets, bathrooms and elevator.
Location: Close to the waterfront and all it's attractions. Close to the ball park.
Hotel is old and dated. Carpets are worn out. The rooms are small especially the bath room. The only elevator was extremely slow - painfully slow. The location was good, within walking distances of all the best attractions. There were some good restrauants in the area plus good shopping.

Cons: Second elevator needs to be fixed immediately
Pros: Cozy updated clean room with great water pressure and a.c. unit. Cons: Housekeeping had to be called 3x to replenish regular coffee, package of decaf coffee has an expiration date of 2013, only one functioning elevator which can be slow

Check in led to service recovery

We arrived at the hotel @ 130pm and spoke to a desk agent as well as upgraded our room to have two queens. The agent told us to check back with them in 30 minutes to an hour. I asked if she could give us a call when the room was ready she said no but you can call us back, this I found odd. We arrived back at the hotel at 3pm approached to check in, and were told that no rooms were ready. I also noticed that our bags that were meant to be checked in to baggage storage were left in the lobby. I told the new agent who was very helpful that we had arrived at 130 and what we were told. She immediately got on the phone to ask housekeeping to please rush a room for us. Within a half hour the room was ready so thank you for that. The end went the beginning not so much. Stanley the bellman was exceptional his service level out weighed any others so I thanked him for that.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at bar none

From the time of my arrival when the key did not work and my family suite got turned into a single with two queen beds. The staff informed me they would relocate me after getting the locked fixed the next day. Never heard from them again. The coffee pot was placed such that you could not actually reach the plug without physically moving it onto a radiator as there were no extension cords. The room was dirty. During a 4 day stay, our room was never cleaned and we received no new towels. We also weren't given enough towels--2 bath towels only were provided. I pulled up to valet parking and finally had to walk in as noone ever came out. The fitness room consisted of a single very old treadmill, an out of service elliptical and a very old recumbent bike. The only nice thing was the little coffee/gelato shop that was downstairs in the lobby. Would never stay here again.

Nice City Hotel Close to everything downtown

Pros: Close by everything downtown.
Cons: Elevators (but already working on it)
It is a nice Hotel Close by all downtown attractions. Small rooms, comnpared to ther City Hotels I have stayed in but staff is friendly and rooms are clean and well equiped with everything needed. Elevator were under construction, so there was only one out of two available. But other then that, nice stay...

When booking this hotel, I should have been told about the cost of parking, that would have affected my hotel choice. Also, we were tricked into parking somewhere that was not the hotel's parking and the hotel did nothing to stop its customers from being tricked. Finally, the elevator situation was unacceptable. Only one elevator was in operation, during our stay. When it came time to leave, my 80 year old parents had to walk down six flights of stairs upon checking out. I know my parents would not stay at the hotel again. The carpeting throughout the hotel was filthy.

Great Location in Downtown Seattle

Pros: Valet service for our car, a nice coffee shop in the lower lobby and very friendly and accommodating staff.
Cons: When the restaurant next door opens, this location will be a great plus for visitors.
Location: The transit mall for buses is right around the corner and it is only a 3 block walk to Pike Market, and about 6 block walk to Safeco field.
This hotel is currently being renovated but the rooms are very pleasant and clean. They are small but the location in the heart of downtown is a big plus. The upgrades to the bathrooms are very nice with a great shower!!

Seattle hotel near center

Cons: Working elevators.
The hotel was clean the bed was comfortable.The bathroom was extremely tight, the toilet was between the bathtub & wall <1" from wall, abutting the bath. The toilet paper was up on the window sill. This is an 8 floor hotel with M,L,& B (11 stops) with one working elevator. To their credit the plumbing worked. The location is pretty close to Pike's Place Market about 1 mile to SPace Needle.
