Old rooms with modern upgrades

Posted Jan 26, 2015
I paid 70 bucks for one night as a sale price, completely worth it! Staff is great, rooms are pretty small but the location of hotel is great! For what I paid I am pleased but I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are getting an impressive price..

nice older hotel...

Posted Jan 18, 2015
My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very nice and helpful. great location for the museums, space needle, the market and downtown shopping. It is an older hotel but the bathrooms looked recently renovated and were very clean, bed was more than adequate with masses of pillows, nice duvets. Liked the pub downstairs also. I will definitely stay here again! :-)

Central Location

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: Nice bedding. Good location.
Cons: Though generally clean, many finishes were chipped and carpets in the hall had bleach stains. Walls were paper thin.
Location: Downtown seattle. Short walks to Pike's Market, piers, Pioneer Square, convention center.
I booked this hotel because it was part of a package that saved me quite a bit of money. They were nice enough to provide a key to my companion some hours before my arrival although my name was the one on the booking. They were also nice enough to switch our room when she complained that the smell of smoke was too much. They also provide us breakfast vouchers as an apology. The second room was small, but the bedding was very nice. However, the walls were paper thin and we could hear our neighbors conversations word for word. In addition when we checked out I asked the front desk to call a cab and they suggested using the car service instead, suggesting it would be much cheaper. It was actually the same price although I didn't realize this until I was dropped off at the airport. Payment was a bit embarrassing as I thought "much cheaper" indicated complimentary, there was no fair meter, and no one mentioned cost. I would have used the service anyway, but it would have been nice to know what I was getting into. Overall, the hotel experience was okay, but I will stay elsewhere next time.

Nice hotel, Bad wifi

Posted Jan 13, 2015
this hotel is good in general, but i have to say that their wifi speed is terribly slow! If you cannot live without internet, this might be a bad choice.

the hotel is in the heart of downtown.

Posted Jan 11, 2015
The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They were very helpful and inviting. The room was clean but small space. They don't have a laundry room. The bathrooms are very small too. However it makes up for its location becaus it is in downtown and everything is walking distance! I would come back to this hotel.

Had a great time

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Location: This hotel was walking distance to everything we wanted to do in downtown Seattle. The only taxi rides we took were to and from the airport.
You could tell the building was on the older side but everything inside was modern but still cozy. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but again, I liked the coziness (especially since it was just my boyfriend and me). The bathroom had updated features and everything was clean. I would recommend this hotel, especially for the price.
