Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Excellent location , near the waterfront , the Seattle Art Museum and shopping aera.
I spent two nights there. Staff was very efficient, room was small with twin beds but comfortable. No breakfast but there is a nice cafe in the hotel.

Dirty and small

Posted Nov 8, 2014
I stayed 5 days and cleaner never clean the room, he/she just tidy up the bed. Cleaner didn't even refill the tissue paper. Didn't even remove the dirty towels. Room and bathroom are too small. Will never go back to this hotel.

Simple and Small - Could use some TLC

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Coffee in the room, you don't see that at a lot of places anymore.
Cons: Carpeting. Rooms cleaned and maintained. Toilet roll holder moved to other wall so that it wasn't an arm rest.
Location: Everything was close to this hotel. The Stadium, Pikes Market, Comedy Clubs . . . Great location
We would have thought that this was an okay hotel. Everything was old, which we were prepared for, it's an historical building. Carpets in room hallways left you feeling dirty, they were pretty disgusting. The room was small (especially the bathroom), but fairly clean, except for the soap left by the previous guest in the shower soap tray. Things went fairly smooth until our last night. We had to call down for Coffee, Glasses, Cream, and Sugar. The last 2 nights neither of the 2 Ice Machines were working (2 for 8 floors). Only one of the elevator's worked and it was extremely slow, had we not been on the 8th floor we would have walked up more often. It was a minimum 5 minute wait.

Great Downtown Seattle Location

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Pros: The staff were congenial and the location was great.
Cons: The room was too warm and the heating/cooling system did not work well.
Location: See above.
The location was fantastic within walking distance of Pike's Place Market, Pioneer Square, Seattle Art Museum, the ferry terminal and theaters and shopping. The hotel was right across the street fro the Seattle Public Library. Public transportation was easy to use and the light rail from the airport had a stop approximately 3 bocks from the hotel. We also took the city bus, the streetcar and a ferry.

Disgusting, filthy hotel!

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Please don't waste your money at this hotel. The lobby seemed okay, and the staff was nice, but the room was dirty, and stuffy. We left a few hours after getting there, it was that bad!

I have been in nicer places. This one fit my purpose of a place to safely sleep and was close to the Convention Center.

Great location, great pub downstairs, room Ok

Posted Oct 30, 2014
Pros: The location and the great pub downstairs.
Cons: The room needs to be updated. Bathrooms appear to be updated recently but my toilet was in such an odd place that it can only be used sitting oddly.
Location: Near pike's market and the conference center
Great location, great pub, room small with weird bathroom layout. Functional but dated. Blanket needs a Duvet cover. Room service is a hit or miss depending on the staff serving a particular room. Mine completely missed a day, did not empty the garbage and never replenished tissues. All in all a good choice for someone for whom location is important and a low price a must.
