Nice hotel for downtown Seattle

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Stayed for 5 nights and was very impressed. The hotel had parking for your car for an extra charge which was well worth it. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. The rooms were very clean and modern. The shuttle service was amazing. Would definitely return when visiting Seattle again.

Schönes, großzügiges, sauberes Hotel

Posted Apr 23, 2015

Perfect location

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location, good free breakfast wit lots of seating. Updated, clean, with separate seating area in room.
Cons: Add a microwave
Hotel is close to Science Center (which is why we came) restaurants and Space Needle. Lobby is large and open with plenty of seating. This allows spillover from the breakfast crowd; so you never have to worry about getting at place to sit, no matter how busy. The breakfast itself is very good, and free. The room was spacious, was nice to have a sitting area. Good sized flat TV that could be rotated so it could be used from both sitting area or bed. Room was very clean; bed was better than most. There was a small frig and coffee maker in room, but no microwave. The staff was friendly and efficient. They also have a courtesy van that will take you (and pick you up) within a one mile radius.

Great location

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Location, breakfast room, pool, exercise room
Cons: Smell in our room, street noise
Location: Space needle, Seattle Science Centre, the Pike Place Market, Chihuly blown glass exhibit
This hotel is in a great location with lots of unique and delicious restaurants within easy walking distance. It is two blocks from the Space Needle and the must see Chihuly glass exhibit. Our room was comfortable and well layer out. It had a small fridge, nice tv, sitting area. The exercise room and pool were good. Towels were available for swimmers. The only negative was a weird smell in our room. A smell of dirty socks hung in the air...and they weren't ours!

Nice hotel close to downtown

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Great hotel, big rooms, staff was super nice and they had a great free breakfast in the morning! Be careful though the parking garage isn't 6'8'' in all parkig spots! A sprinkler fire head was much lower and scratched and left a little dent in the roof rack of our brand new suburban!!!

Great Hotel Value Near the Space Needle

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Very clean, great service, wonderful breakfast, bag storage for late flights, and nice lobby. A really nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised.
Cons: I was a little concerned when the taxi driver said it was out of downtown but I think the location was wonderful & easily walkable everywhere in city
Location: A little out of the downtown area but close to Space Needle, EMP, Chihuly Garden, Olympic Sculpture Garden, walk or monorail to downtown center.
A great choice in Seattle!! Very close to Space Needle, EMP Museum, Chihuly Garden & Glass, and Seattle Center. Easy walk to Monorail station. About 1.5 mile walk to downtown. Rooms are clean and well appointed, service is friendly. The best value is the breakfast included with the room: choices from fruit and yogurt to cooked items -- buffet style so you can eat and run! Easily saves you $10pp and makes for a convenient option when you are booked to sightsee. Don't miss Tilikum Place Restaurant -- a wonderful dining experience around the corner. And for sightseeing, it's hard to beat the CityPass. Saves you some $$ and you see the highlights. The Duck Tour was a fun overview of the City. The tour of the Underground in Pioneer Square was offbeat but fun. The outdoor Olympic Sculpture Garden (free) was a nice family art walk. The Argosy one hour harbor cruise was a great way to see the city from the water.

Not like Hyatt

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything!
Location: Not worth my time!
I have stayed at many Hyatt properties but I must say this was disappointing. No hotel restaurant means no room service. The so called lounge or bar kept me standing there, ignored as the front desk staff checked in guests. Apparently the 20 something employees were also the bartenders. The excessive amount of time I stood there waiting gave me ample opportunity to experience an upclose and personal look at the filthy bar area representing bottom shelf liquor which instantly turned me off to the idea of a pre dinner libation. This was of course before the supervisor informed me I could purchase alcohol at the Walgreens across the street. NO hot tub in the pool area was the last straw for me. I was happy to check out. No Hyatt property for me again, Hilton and four seasons all the way! What a complete waste of money and a disappointment to the start of our spring streak.

dissappointment

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: breakfast was included
Cons: wifi
Good location, good value with the included breakfast. I had request a room w a view of the space needle, not a big deal if I didn't get it. What I did get was a room on a lower floor facing the alley and gas station. I was woken up by loud music and yelling at 2:30 in the morning. That explains the ear plugs on the bed side. The included wifi was non existent, could hardly get a signal. It was so slow once you get a sgnal you would lose it. I would think twice about going back.
