Great location, friendly and very helpfulPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Friendly, clean, location.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room surprisingly large and kept to a good standard. Breakfast was a satisfying continental buffet, constantly topped up should anything run out. The location is fantastic for Sorrento - close to all the restaurants, bars (but you won't be kept up by noise all night) and easy access to train & bus station for excursions and day trips on a boat. We're coming back to Sorrento, and we will stay at the La Piazzetta guest house again. Although no pool, there is discounted access to the sunbed areas by the sea.

Nice clean hotel in centre of Sorrento.Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: Clean, tidy, excellent service. Very nice room.
Cons: Just one little thing would have liked better coffee machine at breakfast was too weak coffee.
Location: Perfect in centre of town and short 5 min walk to port couldn't have chosen better spot.
Very nice stay, with very helpful and friendly staff. lovely clean and tidy room. does the job for a b and b however if looking for hotel with plenty of facilities like a pool, bar etc. Not for you but for the price excellent little hotel and due to being in centre of town only have to exit hotel and are at a bar.

Good ValuePosted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: Nice decor, easy walk from the train station, good value
Cons: Having an "in-house" breakfast would be nice.
Location: Easy walk to everything in Sorrento, excellent restaurant, Davina, very close by.
A great location in the middle of Sorrento it is an easy walk to everything (as pretty much everything is in Sorrento). While we didn't have an amazing view there were many windows for natural light. Priceless vistas come at a price in Sorrento. The room decor was very hip and everything felt pretty fresh and clean. About a 30 second walk down the street is Davina restaurant, which we would highly recommend as the food was some of the best we had in Italy for great prices. The staff was also very friendly. The only draw back was that their "breakfast" is for a voucher for the cafe just down the street which consists of a coffee and a pastry. While both are good, I didn't feel that it was enough food to keep you with days filled with walking walking walking. The Cafe was also a local spot which is very busy with locals. While it did have its charm and authenticity, first thing in the morning I sometimes like a bit of quiet before I get my first coffee in rather than squeezing up the counter amongst boisterous italians smoking a laughing. Charming at first, but after 4 days of it a little more low-key would be nice. Regardless, this is a tidy spot for good value.

Great spacePosted Oct 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room looks like they were newly renovated. It was very spacious with all the main beds on the second floor. It was nice that they had a little kitchenette space for quick meals. The only problem we had was that the bathroom was giving off a funny odor... might be from the sewage. The ac only works well on the first floor, the second floor was quite warm even though downstairs was super cold since the ac vent is aimed toward the first floor.

Good locationPosted Sep 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Breakfast was provided everyday at a restaurant downstairs. rooms were clean and had daily housekeeping services. Bathroom was a little too tiny and the first day we had issues with the hot water and bathed in cold water at night.. we came back home and didn't want to trouble Raul, there was no one at the reception after 8pm. Next day however, the hot water came and we didn't have to contact anyone about it. Reception was exceptionally helpful when we asked for hot drinking water on one of the nights. Overall good experience at this Guest house for Sorrento.

Like an oasis in the dessertPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Since arriving in Italy on vacation and experiencing subpar to extremely poor customer service all round (stores, bars, hotels, restaurants, etc.), coming to La Piazzetta was like an oasis in the dessert. The service of the staff was courteous and friendly and despite having some WiFi issues which they resolved, I was quite happy with the hotel and the room (FYI...we stayed in the black and white room and it was great).

Awesome time in SiennaPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved staying in this apartment. Very modern, clean, great location. Loved having a washer to do laundry. I did not like that it was on the fourth floor but it was only bad the day we got there with all of our luggage, I say pack light.

Great location for a cute little guesthouse.Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: Location, good condition of hotel, nicely decorated rooms, friendly staff.
Cons: Walls were pretty thin so you could hear our neighbours during the night. The second bed which was a pullout bed was very uncomfortable.
Great location, friendly staff, nicely updated/decorated rooms. Good A/C, small kitchen area was useful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would be keen to stay here again.

Depends on the roomPosted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: Location and staff friendliness
Cons: Street noise and sleep quality
If you get a room that is away from the street then it would be excellent. If you get a family room, like we did, at the from of the hotel...then it's disappointing. The noise from the street is very bad. Also, we have been traveling for four weeks through Europe. This hotel has the hardest beds and worst pillows that we have experienced.
