Location is amazing but facilities are basic. Swimming was nice but packed and room was close to pool which was quiet noisy.

Friendly site.

Posted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming. The pool was lovely and the site was very lush with lemon and lime trees.
Cons: More utensils, etc in the kitchenette. Evening entertainment could be indoors so that people could opt in to the music.
Location: Great base for sightseeing, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius all very close. Easy walk down to the beach/marina with small beach and eateries.
First time with this company, but would use them again. The accommodation was basic as the price would suggest, but was perfectly adequate for a week long stay. The entertainment staff worked very hard to include everyone. Lovely Pizza place within a 5 minute walk and more expensive restaurants by the coast (15/20 minute walk). Great ice cream parlour on the way into Pianno. Ideal for families, with entertainment laid on for the children and the lovely pool.

Small shed

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Nice area, good parking, nice staff.
Cons: Upgrade of rooms
Location: Nice beach nearby. Good restaurant at the top of the road. Would advise hireing a car as the main area's in Sorrento are quite far away.
Very small chalet (shed) had everything you need for a short stay. Walls are very thin lots of kids on school trips staying at this resort. Kept been woken up by fruit falling on the roof and kids shouting. The pool was clean and a good size. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Lovely view, great pool

Posted May 30, 2014
Pros: Good location in Piano di Sorrento, good basic accommodation. You could purchase fast wifi access.
Cons: Modernise the chalets inside, some more utensils for the kitchen, more info on local amenities, at breakfast have some more choice. Kettle in chalet.
Location: South area of Piano di Sorrento, two small black sandy public beaches nearby, walking distance to shops, good base for Pompeii and Sorrento.
We stayed in a stone chalet. It was basic, but had a lovely view of the gorge through the window. It was dated decor-wise and we just had the one set of towels for our stay. The pool was good, but you need to wear swimming caps. The park unfortunately was pulled apart while we were there, so the kids only got to play there on the first day; hopefully it will be renovated for future guests.

Nice hotel but a little out of the way 20 mins wal

Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Grounds and views were beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful
Cons: An easier access to train station as when weather would turn very hot it would be quite an unfortable walk.
Location: One bar and one pizza restaurant beach about 20/25 min walk, 20 min walk to train
Lovely family friendly hotel, rooms are a little compact but beautiful surroundings and view. Staff are friendly and helpful. The biggest problem we found was that it was a little out of the way, 2 train stops from sorrento, how trains are regular and cheap, however a 20 min walk to station. As we went just at beginning of station was hotel was a little quite, however I would suggest that letter in season would be quite lively which would be of benefit as last train back from sorrento is at 9.30. Overall a pleasant experience.

Paradise by the sea

Posted Nov 4, 2013
Our first impression of this place was walking through the garden in the dark. We heard waves crashing and church bells ringing. We noticed the lights of Napoli far off across the bay. Next morning we stepped outside and gasped at the view...spectacular vista of the sea over a cliff in a garden of orange trees and ancient olives. The room was basic with rustic charm. We used the kitchen and enjoyed shopping at local markets to buy fresh fish, sausage, fruits and vegetables. The lady who checked us in encouraged us to cook pasta, so we did. They had a beautiful pool, at least Olympic size. Situated in Piano di Sorrento, we were away from the tourist areas, yet just a train/bus ride from all the attractions. We were a 10 min walk from the Circumvesuviana train which goes from Napoli to Sorrento and all around Vesuvius. We bought a train/bus pass and used it the first day to visit Pompeii...off to a great start! Next we took the bus to Amalfi. It was one of those cliff hanger bus rides on a narrow road hugging the edge above sea. Spectacular! We came back again and again. We rode the bus all the way to Salerno. We saw Capri. We took the sightseeing bus up the mountain from Amalfi. We walked back down on the ancient path with at least 2,000 stone steps. When it was time to leave, we both shed tears. Yes we'd stay there again.

Close to the beach, nice hotel.

Posted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: The pool, near the beach and supermarket.
Cons: The treatment of costumers at the breakfast, the guy is a little bit rude sometimes.
Location: The location is great, have restaurants and supermarket really near the hotel.
Sorrento is really nice area, beautiful. The area is a little bit crazy, a lot of cars and motorbikes, sometimes you think that do not have space, is really a little bit scared and nice at the same time.

Clean

Posted Jun 24, 2013
Very clean. The pool was imaculate,a bit strange at first having to wear swimming caps and wash before you enter the area but it all makes sense to keep it all clean.Car park is safe if you have a rented car. There is a super market just outside the site so you can cook and eat at your kitchen for very little money. The owners and staff are mostly older so have a relaxed and mature style. Not noisy. It was a great place to set a base from.
