Pros: not much
Cons: everything
Location: loud location, next to all the bars, noisy
gross hotel, roach in the dresser drawer, found in my clothes, the place is so run down, in bad working order, the pool deck is really bad, some areas were roped off with caution tape

Ok for the price compared to other options

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Character and location. Beautiful in a rustic sort of way.
Cons: Desk for laptop. Continental breakfast.
If you’re looking for a resort this is not it. This is a quaint little hotel with a bed and breakfast vibe without the breakfast or any food for that matter. Quarters are small and cramped and there is no desk to set up your laptop.

Great Place

The hotel is located just off the boardwalk and is surrounded by great places to eat and have a drink. The staff was very friendly and always attentive. I would stay there again and happily recommend the hotel

Good location, lots of charm

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: The old Dutch charm of the building and furnishings.
Cons: No Mosquitos. Lol. Internet was free but sporadic.
Location: Downtown Chrisiansted. Lots of restaurants, Boardwalk and shops.
We loved the charm and convenience of this hotel. It was an easy stroll to the boardwalk, restaurants and shops. There were stairs to climb, because the antique elevator does not work, and Mosquitos, but heck it's the Caribbean so it's expected. We had a wonderful stay at the Commanche. We stayed in the four-poster bed room.

Ok hotel

If you have friends on the island who can pick you up and drop you off, then it should be ok. Parking is a hassle and no porter. It is close to the water front and that is very pretty. Can quickly access boats to hotel on the Cay and Buck Island. Not a lot of mod-com in the room. Room service was great. People are friendly.

Had electrical issue with room. While management did come and have the receptionist add a plug strip we had to sacrifice the light to plug in the fridge. Management didn't even offer an extra night to compensate. I had called ahead of time and the check in time is so late that management had more than enough time to deal with it.

Perfect Paradise Location

Posted Feb 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
Walls, floors, & ceilings a little thin but room was comfortable and clean. Great location; near everything you need to be near in Christiansted. Only negative was THOSE DANG ROOSTERS!!! Actually they weren't THAT bad and it was kinda quaint. Will stay here again.

Not only at Comanche Club, but everyone in St. Croix is really friendly and kind. I wish I could have stayed longer (actually, I felt so good and welcome that I've dreamed on moving and staying forever! :)

Club Comanche in St. Croix

Posted Feb 3, 2015 on Hotels.com
Club Comanche is an old property in downtown Christiansted, offering access to the many restaurants and shops of the island's main city. You should ask for a room in the newer, pool section of the hotel -- I was in the "Jimmy Carter Suite" with a wonderful view of the harbor and yachts. The hotel has no restaurant, but new manager John and his staff will bend over backward to make your stay as accommodating as possible.
