Fabulous Family Vacation

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: The kids club was great! We really liked the daily activities and the goodies provided upon registration. Housekeeping staff were very courteous.
Cons: The food offered at the restaurants could've been more authentic. We visit your country to taste your food and learn your culture, not vice versa.
Location: Piton Zip Lining Tour was awesome!
St. Lucia is a beautiful country with beautiful people. The hotel grounds were pretty and well maintained. The kids club was awesome (according to our 6 year old). We really liked the several pools, lazy river and water slide. Areas that could be improved: entertainment and food. Wished we could've seen more cultural and Caribbean themed events that represent the country. The food was very Americanized. We would ask the chefs for the local food and that was a plus.

Great family location with on site water park

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Friendly and family orientated. Especially for under 10s the water slides are loved. On the beach.
Cons: The rooms although clean and tidy are basic and shared with the kids. I see that they are building sites which may give more room.
Location: The location is very handy to the international airport. There are day trips around the island but there is not too much to do in close proximity.
The hotel is very close to the international airport in the south of the island. It is very family orientated with an on site water park featuring two long slides, lazy river and numerous swimming pools. The staff are friendly. The food is of good quality and unless you have a lot of self control it is easy to over indulge. There is nightly entertainment. The hotel is on the beach although on this occasion there was an unusually high amount of seaweed being blown in to the shore.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Being my first time to an all inclusive, I could not have asked for a better experience. The food was amazing and the staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met. My stay at Coconut Bay could not have been better. I don't think I will ever be able to find another resort I love as much.

A nice resort and a very accommodating staff.

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: The price was excellent, the variety of food choices offered in the restaurants was excellent and once again, the staff was very accommodating.
Cons: Do additional work to clean the mold in the bathrooms.
Location: Horseback riding, wind surfing, and a pools are on the resort; mud baths, an active Volcano and a Botanical Gardens are relatively close.
Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa is an old facility, but its clean and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay,

Nice Place - No Beach

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: food was good, and the service was okay. I was there for 9 nights for my honeymoon.
Cons: Beach cleanup - they said they work on it, I dont believe they word hard enough to remove the seaweed
Location: Location is on the southern point close to the tip
The beach is completely full of seaweed - besides that the food was great and the service was good - but the beach was very disppointing. I was there for nine nights on my honeymoon. Its amazing, we had a fantastic time but I would never return to this resort. They are bringing in luxury rooms which I dont believe the resort is prepared for at all unless they are putting in significant signiciant upgrades.

Great Hotel 5 minutes from airport!!!

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: The staff and size of the resort was amazing.
Cons: Advertise the nightly entertainment for the older crowd more. We talked to several people that had no idea what was happening the night before.
Location: Definitely go to the volcano and do the mud baths. Get a tour guide through the resort they are awesome. Local bars are cool if you are young.
We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon in June of 2015. We had an amazing time. They have an adult side which is very nice for honeymooners. It has 2 pools and a hot tub and a bar just for the adult side. It also has the community side which has 2 large pools, swim up bar, and a water park. The resort was very clean and the staff were all very nice. I did not come across a single employee that did not greet me with a smile and hello. The bartenders are very entertaining and knowledgeable. The resort is large enough to have the quiet moments you may want yet has several nightly entertainment options if you would like to gather with a crowd. This resort seemed to have everything to please all age levels. If you stay in the adult Harmony side make sure to say hello to Jay for us! Only bad thing I will say about the resort is we went during a time where mother nature wasn't so kind. The seaweed was in full power during this time of the year and made the beach very ugly and the water not very desirable to swim in. We were told it was a rare occurrence and was out of character, but it is a season none the less that the south part of the island has to deal with. I would research this and try to go during the off season when there is less seaweed. Also being on the south end of the island the resort catches the east trading wind and makes the ocean a little choppy. Calmer waters and less seaweed was said to be on the west side of island or north part about 45-1:30 away from airpo

Perfect!

We had a great stay at coconut bay. It is a close drive from the airport unlike many other hotels in the area which is great. Not too many planes go to and from at lucia so you don't have to worry about hearing planes go by, we barely noticed any. Upon arrival from the airport we were greeted by Eric, with rum punches and a smile which was very refreshing after having had quite a travel nightmare. We had missed a day at coconut bay because of this, and Eric made sure that we got the most out of our stay. He pre booked us reservations at all of the restaurants and recommended the land and sea tour for our excursion. All of this was amazing. The food was great, the customer service was well beyond that of many resorts I have stayed at, and coconut bay was beautiful. I would highly recommend the land and sea tour, you get to snorkel in 2 amazing locations, go on a catamaran, we had lunch at a delicious restaurant called the beacon with the most unbelievable view, went to the botanical garden/waterfall, and the mud bath at the volcano. The only issue at the resort was the seaweed, there is a good amount on the beach but they do a very good job of cleaning it-and the pool area is very nice. Regardless, everything about our stay was amazing at coconut bay. Delicious Food, good drinks, entertainment that was talented and not corny, yoga by the beach, and relaxation, what more could you ask for?!

Nice resort. Rough beach but nicer than other side

Beautiful views and harmonic birds. Lots of fun activities that are all part of the all inclusive experience. Well worth the trip.
