Great hotel set in Rocks area.

Pros: Good facilities. Great location.
Cons: Nothing
Fabulous place to stay. Only 10 minute walk from trains at Circular Quay. Easy walk to city and opera house and Botanic gardens. Lots of great earing places nearby. Walk to Milsons Point on other side of bridge only took us 20 minutes. Room spacious with good facilities.

Nice hotel, very close to all services

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Quietness, staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfasts, well presented. Hotel was exceptionally clean.
Cons: To have a separate shower recess instead of having to climb into the bath to have a shower. A concern for older people!
Location: Excellent location very near Circular Quay for ferries trains and buses. Many varied restaurants and shops within a couple of minutes walk.
Had a lovely three day stay in Sydney staying at Rendezvous Hotel in the Rocks. It is close to great restaurants, ferries, trains, and buses to visit any part of Sydney very easily.

Had a priceless view from our balcony of Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge (rm 609). Room was not ready when we arrived but they made us a coffee and provided a free nights internet. We had two single beds made up for the teenagers, mattresses were hard and the additional underblankets we requested to soften the mattresses never arrived but the teenagers were that exhausted they finally slept anyway. Good in house breakfast available, good selection of fresh food, although the toaster and pancake maker were both not working on the second morning so chose to eat elsewhere. Good value for money and competitive with local restaurants Overall good room with fantastic view, good location and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Great hotel to stay if you are going on a cruise

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Everything. I stay there again anytime.
Location: It is very close to the pier were you can go on a cruise ship or just take a ferry across the bay. It's also close to the train and bus stops.
We stayed in this hotel before our cruise and again after. It is in a great location and within easy walking distance to the pier. No need for a taxi. The staff was great.

Great location

There were 4 of us travelling together. We arrived at the hotel early morning, not expecting to be given a room immediately but just to drop off our bags and head out to see the sights. To our surprise, a room was available, with the exception of the extra linens. We left our luggage in the room and off we went. When we returned later in the afternoon, our room was completely done up with two cots in the living area all set up. We had thought that we would have to share the hide a bed. The staff was most accommodating and pleasant at all times. A breakfast was available, however, we didn't use it as we had kitchen facilities. The stove top was not working and we were offered to move to another room, but we chose to decline as it wasn't a huge issue for us. There was a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge, which served our purposes well. The location of the Rendezvous was excellent. Walking distance to Circular Quay and all the transportation that we needed.

Pros: room was good size and the hotel was not too big .... very comfortable
Location: access to rail, rocks galleries and museums, and ferry service, what more can one want .... all with-in walking distance!
we had a great overnight stay and will return to this hotel when we next visit Sydney. The reception and room staff were extremely friendly and the room very comfortable.
