Rome, which is the national capital, is situated 200 miles (322 kilometers) northeast of Talana, while Olbia lies 60 miles (97 kilometers) to the north.
Don't restrict yourself to Talana, because Sardinia features plenty of natural and man-made attractions waiting to be explored. Tortoli, lies roughly 12 miles (19 kilometers) to the northwest. Head there to visit the San Gemiliano Beach and Orri Beach.
