Standard Japanese businessman's hotel.Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Pleasant staff, very flexible. Businessman hotel room was servicable and tidy. Good value for money in Tokyo, very close to a subway station and Convenience stores.

Great service good pricePosted Jul 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was well-situated in Shinjuku. For those who do not mind a 10-minute walk from the main station, the hotel is very convenient. It is very close to the main area of Shinjuku and there are several shops and restaurants near by. For those savvy travellers, the closest subway station is actually Tochomae on the Oedo line. Also, the hotel is best accessed from the lane way - there are no steps at that entrance. Regarding srvice, we had left our bags with the hotel earlier in the day as we had arrived before the check in time. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the staff had placed our bags in our room before we checked in - this is not a service I've ever received without paying or asking. While there was free wifi, it was only available in the lobby. Free internet was only available by wired connection in rooms. A strange feature of the hotel was that you had to leave your key at the front desk every time you left the property. It was also a physical key, and not a card with a chip, so that was a bit strange. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I would recommend to my friends and would stay again.

Good area but far from main areaPosted Jul 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel was generally good. Guests should note that the hotel's main entrance seems to be from the lane at the rear and not from the major street. It is closer to the Shinjuku train station and it is better access for luggage. Hotel is just on the outside of Shinjuku - it is just a few blocks from all the action but far enough so that it isn't noisy at night. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Shinjuku station (the Toei side) so plan your outings accordingly. The closest station is actually Tochomae on the Oedo line - it is about two blocks away by the government buildings. Be aware that free WiFi is only available in the lobby and that only wired internet is available in rooms. Breakfast was really good. Overall, generally convenient for a good price if you don't mind some walking to the hotel.

Decent hotel but probably won't stay there againPosted Jun 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel isn't as bad as I had imagined it to be, though there is plenty of room for improvement. Amenities and toiletries are provided with compliments, air-con is almost inaudible, room is clean and nicely made up every day by housekeeping upon request. The only reason why I had booked this hotel is because it was a last-minute booking and the price is reasonable for a 3-star hotel. Hotel staff speaks minimal English. Room key is a real metallic key. Hotel staff only issued 1 key even though there were 2 of us; posed a bit of inconvenience because on certain days I preferred to sleep earlier and my friend stayed out late. which means sleep was interrupted just so that I could open the door for my friend.

excellent value for money in great locationPosted Jun 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is getting a bit older (but still pretty well maintained) and we chose a smaller room. Thus the value for money was really good with a high level of comfort, quality breakfast, great access to local attractions and the trains and subway and food shops. This is the second time we have stayed here for these reasons.

Good Value for the hotelPosted May 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is a great bargain. Rooms are nice, staff speaks decent to good English and overall are very helpful. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel is easy to get to the Narita Airport by Limousine Bus from Washington Hotel, however it is a good 10 minute walk to Shinjuku station (though you can go through the Washington Hotel Annex and go completely underground). Overall, I was happy with their services and room for the price that I paid.

Good hotel, nice locationPosted May 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed with my parents for 3 nights while visiting Tokyo. Location is very good, and hotel in general was fine. My only concern was the internet support. They only allow access (free) to wifi in the lobby but there is a wifi set already for each room, but they do not provide the password for that one.

Great hotels overallPosted May 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great stay overalls. Free breakky package which is great however the hotel is a fair bit of a walk from Shinjuku station. The room is very spacious which is a plus! If you're gonna stay in this hotel and are rolling out big luggages make sure you get in from the back entrance; if you use Google map it would point you to the front -- if you see stairs then you are in the front entrance. We learnt it the hard way when we get there, it would be nice if there's a clear instruction on the site about this though. However, we're happy with the service!
