Great budget hotel located in Village at Grace BayPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Great location close to beach, restaurants and grocery shopping. Fabulous small pool
The hotel manager Jessica was extremely helpful. She showed us to our room on the 3rd floor. The room had a great balcony overlooking the pool. The room was clean with a microwave, TV, small fridge and safe. The hotel has a few bikes that guests can use. Jessica directed us to the grocery store which was 5 minutes from the hotel. Public beach access is just down the lane way where the hotel has chairs and umbrellas available to their guests. There are numerous restaurants within a few steps of the hotel. Located beside the pool is a BBQ and hammock.

ConvenientPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: Friendly and clean
Cons: Have a lift
Location: There is a noisy pub in front but it did bother us
The apartment was clean although extremely basic. The kitchen only consisted of a small sink, microwave and a fridge. No good if you want to cook there, The other problem was that we were placed on the top floor and with 2 heavy suitcases it was hard work climbing up to the apartment as there was no lifts. The pool is is too small to swim in but good as a dipping pool. This didn't bother us as we preferred the beach Otherwise we were pleased with where it was situated and cleanliness

Very close to all the shops and activities in Grace Bay but rooms up stairs and no elevator. Reception not manned after hours so difficult to contact.

Decent Budget OptionPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We did a 1-night stay at Grace Bay Suites prior to the beginning of a week's stay at a rental home. The manager Kevin was very helpful with a late arrival, and the location is just off Grace Bay Road. The room itself was fine, though I don't know if it would be the spot we'd prefer for an extended stay. But for a budget option close to the resorts, it's a good choice.

Inexpensive within walking distance to necessitiesPosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The suite was perfect for 2. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to a grocery store, 5 minute walk to the beach, & a very short walking distance to numerous shops& eateries. It did take a very long time for the room to cool off since you have to insert your room key for power & we stepped out a few times. Also, part of the door sensor to the balcony kept falling off turning the a/c off. Maintenance finally fixed it with duct tape. Considering the costs of other nearby stays, it was all well worth it.

Clean and close to several shops and restaurantsPosted Jul 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here on our way to another destination and again as we were leaving. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly, however they didn't go out of their way to help you. IE: we were on the third floor both times and they offered no assistance with the luggage (no elevator). But they were helpful with recommending places and giving directions. The location was in the middle of a lot of places to eat and shop. It was a bit strange that we had to use our key to access power in our room (be sure to ask for two keys!), but maybe that is common in TCI?? I like that they were all about conserving energy and the room cooled off very quickly once we got the AC going. There were also a lot of loud things going on outside the hotel (one night karaoke at nearby bar and another night cement was being poured rather late), however we could not hear anything once we were in our room. My husbands only gripe was he thought we were going to be on the water, which we were not. Overall, it was a very sweet and quiet place. We only saw two other people staying there.
