Great location

Posted May 9, 2015
Arrived earlier than check in time but was allowed to check in early. Great people working at the reception. Kevin and Mandy are amazing and very helpful!! Location is perfect. Close to Grace Bay Beach. Stone throw away from Danny Buoy bar and resto and Salt Mills. Hotel room is not in perfect condition but considering the price, Im happy with it.

Grace Bay Area

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: close to amenities, great beds, met some great people
Cons: more attention to detail re pool and rooms, fix what is broken, great big showers were nice but our shower door did not close all the way.
No elevator for this 3 storey building. We were able to be moved as I have a knee condition and that was great. Close to amenities, a bit far from beach but definitely walkable. The pool was not clean, actually other people staying there from Ontario swept up the area and actually cleaned the sides of the pool which were dirty. More attention needed here. Not a place for children.

Consigliato per un fai-da-te

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Praticità, prezzo economico, vicinanza alle varie comodità.
Cons: La presenza dello staff

Close to Grace Bay beach, downtown and restaurants.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Great staff, very easy to meet other guests, bar b q and ice provided.
Cons: The parking and garbage area of the nearby pub could be fenced off better so guests do not have to pass by it coming and going.
Location: Right in middle of town. Few minutes walk to Grace Bay beach, lots of great ethnic restaurants, hotels and grocery store. You can walk everywhere.
We had a great stay. Located right in town, walked to grocery, beach, restaurants and shopping areas easily.rom was large, comfortable and we could make our own meals if we wanted. Very home-like spot, small with wonderful staff who were always helpful.I have stayed at much fancier and MUCH more expensive spots in Provo, but Grace Bay had all we needed. Some bikes were provided for guest use,and fresh ice every day. Will definitely be back.

A great vacation and will be returning next year. Nice hotel, close to the beach, restaurants, grocery store etc. Kevin( manager), Mandy and crew couldn't have been more accommodating, personable and friendly. Beach chairs and umbrellas free on the beautiful beach and free bikes for use. Sure you would have a great time. Rob and Nancy

Cheapest price on Grace Bay…

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: Central location…great bounce point to grab a cab in either direction to explore and visit other properties. Hotel provided the essentials.
Cons: Beach chairs and umbrellas need serious replacement. Quality and additional chairs to accommodate at least two thirds of hotel capacity would be nice.
Location: Next door to Salt Mills Shopping Plaza, restaurants, 100 yards to beach, 10 minute walk to super market…couldn't be better in that respect.
First time to Grace Bay…Grace Bay is the best stretch of beach in the Caribbean especially the sand for walking. In addition to a wonderful vacation was looking for future hotel options. Hotel shortcomings mentioned can't be outweighed by the price…everything is relative. Hotel needs a general overhaul from top to bottom. Manager's Mandy and Kevin do a good job given conditions. Students: If you choose this island this hotel would be perfect for the young and single whose hotel expectations aren't quite as high but for the general cost of alcohol on the island. Beer at the supermarket is $3/beer, 3X24 a case. Restaurants and Danny Buoys' sports bar are $7 to 8$ a beer based on local taxes and 10% inclusive tipping before an exclusive individual tip. It can get expensive but they had the Dish sport package and were accommodating for watching home team requests. A good fit. Couples: There is a reason we all choose this hotel and it is because of the price point…there are other more costly options though not many real time in February and March. For all: Had the pleasure of visiting more than a few locations…For the future The Ocean Club, Ocean Club West and The Sands were all similarly wonderful locations in every respect. The Grace Bay Club is a great property to spend time for food and drink and a relaxing nightly visit or stay.

disaster

Posted Mar 6, 2015
Resort was unkempt, room was a disaster with sewage seeping out from base of toilet and bathroom sink leaking into floor. Walls and floor were visibly dirty and small fridge was unsanitary for use. When manager was notified of the room conditions he stated that there were no other rooms available and we were refunded and left the hotel

Location great

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: It is just a hotel, do not expect a resort. Pool just a pool.
Location: All the main things were right there, shopping and food and grocery.
Location was a great. The price of things were way to high. US beer a case was 63. Dollars. We choose Turks Head at 41 dollars. Some restaurants charge service charge and tip plus there is 12% tax! Shay cafe was great good price for breakfast and lunch. Hotel was just that not a resort but we were ok with that.

Excellent value in a nice location

Posted Feb 16, 2015
We stayed a week in room 103. The front office staff and the cleaning staff were all pleasant and friendly. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The Wifi was intermittent but we did manage to connect every day. We walked to the beach most days and always managed to get sun loungers and an umbrella. We never had trouble with noise from Danny Bouy's. We did use the BBQ one night and it worked fine. We found it excellent value in a nice location.
