It was an over night stay before a flight out of Vancouver. The hotel was adequate for that purpose but one night would be enough. There was nothing about it that was particularly appealing.

Worst room in the hotelPosted May 18, 2015
I checked in and was given a room that shared a wall with the pop machine and the ice maker. It was really noisy, I promptly went back down to the front desk and requested another room. I was told that they don't have another room that matches what I had booked. I said give me anything that was available and I was given another room just down the hall. I feel that because I was a woman I was initially given such a terrible room hoping I would accept it and not complain.

Always pleasantPosted May 17, 2015
Pros: Great location and easy to get to. Moxie's is also a reason to stay there.
Cons: Parking, parking, and parking. If there was a reason not to stay there it would be the lack of parking.
Have stayed there a few times. It is always an enjoyable stay close to great dining choices. No fridge in the room though and the TV doesn't have a channel guide.

Excellent servicePosted May 13, 2015
Pros: Loved the beds!!
Location: Very close to Yvr, cab is only $20 or use there shuttle. Restaurant on site
Had a very late check in because our plane had landed late. Check in was fast and without issues. Only thing I disagreed with was that they charge for incidentals???

OK for one nightPosted May 13, 2015
Pros: That Moxie's was attached and we were about at least have a good meal there.
We needed a place to stay for one night so we could be near UBC for a very important (to us) early morning appointment - we had waited for it is for some time. We did not want to risk being held up by traffic & tunnel in the morning as we live down by the US border. The room was adequate for what we paid but the air conditioning was hard to adjust and it was so close to the side of the night table one could not get down in between to even see the dials to adjust it. However, a member of staff finally came up and was able to adjust it for us. Also the bathroom counter had come away from the wall around the sink area (someone either leaned on it hard or sat on it). The room smelled of cigarette smoke.
