Close to ShoppingPosted Jan 23, 2015
Spent 5 days there while visiting family, was little disappointed the continental breakfast was only a " dry" one as i was looking forward to having eggs, sausages etc but that will be something i ask in the future.. What the breakfast includes... The room was decent& clean, bathroom was older style& paint was peeling on walls in shower& the toilet was rocky.. Staff was very friendly, overall stay was ok for amount of time spent in hotel...

Continental breakfast inediblePosted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: It was close to our New Year's Eve party.
Cons: The continental breakfast needs work.
The continental breakfast was inedible. Bagels were like cardboard. Waffle maker did not cook the waffle and we threw them out. The fellow ahead of us did too. We threw out everything we tried except the dry cereal with milk and the juice. The room rate and room comfort was okay.

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.Posted Dec 15, 2014
-Hotel staff was rude. -Breakfast was horrible. Bagels were about 4-5 days old. Waffle machine was not cooking properly. -Inside the room were clean but furniture and things were real old. -It was smoking smell all over.

Quick and affordablePosted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Comparatively cheap to other places, queen beds rather than twin.
Cons: Better cleaning of the shower tiles
Location: Tim Horton's next door, far enough from downtown to be quiet, but not too far.
Finding an reasonably priced hotel so close to our stay proved to be difficult. This hotel was not only affordable, but fairly quick to find and usually pretty close to the places we were going. It's a bit a ways from downtown, but not terrible. The room was bigger than expected, but somewhat outdated. The ceiling had evidence of water damage, but nothing we worried about. The room was pretty clean, but the grout in the shower was in need of some additional cleaning. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast. Overall, I would probably stay here again.

Bad experiencePosted Dec 3, 2014
The stay at the hotel was not what I expected. The furniture setup in the room was very random! The dresser has the TV which covers half of the closet, so it is inaccessible. The key to the room never worked. Had to go to the reception to activate it every time. Asked for more pillows...apparently the hotel did not have a single spare one!! Not even one. Which hotel does not have spare pillows?? The receptionist was useless. Asked for more info on nearby attractions, she replies, "well, if you connect to WIFI, you can look up the attractions yourself!" All in all, extremely poor customer service and the experience was very unsatisfactory.

Okay StayPosted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: The room was adequate for the price and was centrally located.
Cons: The room could use a microwave and the bathroom could be a bit larger with a counter.
We requested a pet friendly hotel and since we are used to staying at La Quinta were surprised that we were charged an extra $20.00 plus tax for our pets. In our mind pet friendly means pet friendly with no extra fee.

It was what we expected for the price.Posted Oct 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
It was an average room. They had no king beds apparently so we had to sleep in a queen. It was ok for 1 night. The hotel needs updating but it was fairly clean.
