“Larry was a wonderful host. This cabin housed us 5 women for night comfortably. Looking forward to coming back next year.”

“Beautiful little cabin in a lovely secluded location. Clean, comfortable, extremely quiet. The only issue we found is - the hot water heater is horribly undersized. Any more than one 10-min shower and you’ll be taking a COLD shower! Lovely retreat for a couple, but a shower together? Out of the question! My wife and I took AM/PM shifts on the 2nd day after it took my breath away on day 1.”

“My friends and I rented marks house for about a month for part of our snowmobile season and its great spot. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and trail is like 1/4 mile from the driveway. House was nice and clean plenty of room for everyone to sleep”

“Not only was the space perfect, but the owners made it that much better. Across the street there is a creek that is so fun to play in. They have an outdoor cooking area that protects you from weather but is so much fun to cook on. The screen room is for games and the humming birds are so silly to watch. There is a fire pit outside and an abundance of nature. The outdoor shower is relaxing too. The beds are so comfy and you have everything you need inside that place. We will be coming back here,……

“Although the cabin was not cleaned before we arrived, the Vacasa cleaning crew came right over after we called. They said it was a scheduling problem that caused them to not have the cabin cleaned before we got there. I would have expected a proactive call to let us know about the problem and for them to have corrected the schedule before we got there and called them about it. Vacasa is also refunding us our cleaning fee.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the cabin--everything was very clean and well organized, with coffee and tea, all the utensils and pots one would need. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. We especially enjoyed the fact that there was a fire pit--lovely for a warm evening. We were able to get back and forth to Colby College in 30 minutes and had dinner in Skowhegan.”

“This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. The gas stove was plenty warm for us, but there are other heaters in the bedroom and bathroom if you need it super toasty. “The house and location gorgeous. Wildlife and stars galore. Loons are amazing. I wish it would have come with a canoe. If you like birds and nature, you should be here. My young granddaughters absolutely loved the long deck and screened in porch. And the grassy areas. And the walk by the lake.”

“We stayed at Ron's place for a 4 day weekend of ATVing in the area. His cabin was immaculate. The location was super quiet. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The view of the pond was stunning and spending some time on the dock after our rides quite relaxing. We will definitely be back again and would recommend his spot to anyone.”

“They aren’t kidding when they say it’s wicked cute, because it is! I had booked this place on accident thinking I had chosen a different property (silly mistake) and it ended up being quite the happy accident! It’s right along a river, and super quiet. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and the cabin is just perfect. We are absolutely looking to come back during the summer months!”

“Overall this was a very nice place. I would not call it a 3 bedroom though. It is a 2 bedroom with lofts. One of the 2 lofts is large like a bedroom, but the ladders to the lofts are straight up and difficult to climb. As long as you know before booking, you can decide if this will be a problem for your family.”

“The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. ”

“Found the cabin on the second try, it’s hidden in plain sight, right off the road. Hosts provided welcoming touches like a personal sign and flowers. It’s a basic setup much like camping and we brought some basic kitchen stuff and lighting devices, which helped. The stream was full and flowing fast and loud, but subsided over time. One night it rained and the tin roof was like a drum, making sleep tough, wished I had brought a tent for that situation. The site is level and spacious. Firewood,……
