“All of the staff at the Royal Palm are amazing; they helped us to organize an excursion to North Seymour Island that we probably would not have considered, but ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The weather in the hills during our stay was overcast, but was beautiful when we ventured to the pier. Maybe because of the time of year/weather, the pool and hottubs were really not usable (not clean or hot). The on-site cafe was fantastic. It was fun to see the tortoises that freely……

“We loved everything about Hotel Cucuve! The service is top notch. The beds and bedding so comfortable, slept great every night. The location is perfect, easily walkable to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Loved the terrace that was available for us to use by Bahia Mar. We spent a lot of our downtime there. Loved that they had filtered water available for us to fill our water bottles, saved us a fortune in bottled water! The breakfast was good too, cooked to order eggs every day. ……

“This property is just a few blocks from the Charles Darwin Research property and to food/shopping on the main drag. Some staff spoke enough English to be able to communicate. Others not so much. Google translate worked well! My husband arrived here with a bad case of traveler's sickness. The gentleman was so kind to help us. He even had some meds we could get, allowed us to check out a little late, due to severity of his illness. They have filtered water available for drinking. Their……

“All of the staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to help you. Breakfast was great, the free cofee and hot/cold water was a plus. We booked a half day tour in their tour agency and had a great experience. Located just a few minutes walking distance to restaurants, markets, souvenir shops, tour agencies etc. ”

“I arrived early before my room was available and management graciously allowed me to leave my luggage inside the hotel while I went for lunch and a walk; they also allowed me to rest on a coach in the third floor social room/kitchen which had a nice breeze coming in from the ocean. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.”

Across the street is undeveloped land so we saw several new birds. It is a little over a mile to the harbor so if that’s more of a walk than you’d like, taxis are everywhere.
