For my personal needs this hotel fit the bill. It was very close to some friends I was visiting, and had free wi-fi service which I needed. It had most of the conveniences of home, incl fridge, microwave, and ironing board. The room was very clean, the bathroom recently renovated. The TV was olderm but did have good reception and a wide variety of channels. The room did not have a couch or an easy chair, which I would have liked. Just a small table and 2 chairs. Had to watch TV from the bed. There was no adverse odor in the room. The breakfast bar was a bare minimum - I didn’t even use it.

It was mostly fine, I did expect to have a mini-Fridge and microwave which i didNOT get but otherwise was ok.

An old worn out Ramada that does have clean rooms and attentive housekeeping staff. But, a few issues.... no coat hangers, two icemakers near front desk (one broken the entire time we were there), non opening windows and a little clause on the registration form indicating that all guests are charged for the use of the safe in their room, unless the guest does not use the safe AND requests the refund upon checkout. Our "safe" had no door.

Satisfied to go back

This motel was a 15 minute drive to Baltimore. It was in a convenient location surrounded by malls and restaurants. The staff was considerate and helpful. Good price for quality and location. If I were to go back to Baltimore this would be the motel of choice.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The drive to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore and the Baltimore Convention Center was a 15 to 30 minute drive on route 83.

Poor maintenance

I can not in good faith recommend this hotel. It was dirty! The staff was somewhat friendly but that is not saying much. Wa glad I only stayed one night.

Great Value

This hotel was a great value for the money. It was relatively close to a convention I was attending. The continental breakfasts were good but not great.

Adequate and Clean

We arrived at the hotel and during registration the manager gave us smoking rooms. I told him I’d booked none smoking and he disputed it even though I had it in writing on my confirmation. He did, however, acommodate us. The rooms were clean and adequate. A bit small but still comfortable. There were four of us traveling and they kindly gave us adjoining rooms without even asking. The only thing that was less than adequate was the lack of sufficient towels for two people. We did go to the desk and ask for more towels and they were quickly supplied. The continental breakfast was not elaborate but good. There was a nice variety of food including cereal, pancakes, waffles, donuts, muffins, coffee, tea and juice. Overall, it was a good value for the money, comfortable and convenient. I’d stay again if I were in that area.

We went to visit the Ladew Gardens which I would highly recommend. It was beautiful and peaceful.

Great value

I only went for one night, but I was pleased with the hotel. It’s located on a stretch of road that’s convenient to many amenities. I wouldn’t suggest it for longer than a few nights, but it’s in a better part of Baltimore County and you really can’t beat the price for quality.

Has a nice selection of many different ethnic foods within a five mile radius.

NOT IMPRESSED

First of all the heating unit in our room didn’t work properly. It took forever to get the heat going and then it got too uncomfortable. Then we discovered the commode in our room was stopped up. If we hadn’t arrived so late and were only spending one night we would have asked for a different room

The only bright spot was Captain James Landing Restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly.

can’t wait for next trip

We travel to this area to visit family and just get away for a few days . Of all the places we have stayed this is by far the most pleasant stay we had. We will be returning to this hotel on our next trip.

Overall - Not bad

The hotel was clean. I had some trouble with an electrical outlet so I had to have light or TV at the receptical. I was able to hear the street sweepers and traffic noises throughout the night at odd intervals. Overall, I felt rested after the night and there was a limited continental breakfast.

Good economy lodging.

Hotel was everything you expect in economy lodging. Good repair, clean, and very helpful front desk.

Good value

This hotel was a decent, safe, clean place to stay for the money. There was a variety of family dining places in the area. Hotel management was helpful and courteous. Room was fairly modern and exceptionally clean.
