Guests booked in "no outdoor pool access" room categories are charged fees to access the pool. Entry to the outdoor pool may be limited due to maximum occupancy policy. In case of overcrowding, guests may have to wait to use the pools. Guests cannot pre-book entry to the pool. Up to 2 sun beds per room are available for use in the outdoor pool area (first-come, first-served basis) and some sun beds are prioritized for guests who book exclusive packages. Children under the age of 36 months must wear swim diapers in the pool. Rubber rings must be less than 1 meter in diameter and are only allowed in the children's pool. Access to Urban Island may be restricted in extreme weather conditions.

Service, amenities, quality, food, location—everything was superb at The Shilla. Special recognition goes to the hotel staff, who went above and beyond with every interaction and request we had, even for those beyond the hotel's scope. I would gladly stay there again anytime. It is a destination in itself.

The Shilla Seoul delivered a flawless luxury experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional and the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. My dinner at the Michelin-starred La Yeon was a true highlight, offering world-class cuisine with breathtaking views. Every detail felt thoughtful and intentional, making this one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had.

Good stay overall. Free shuttle was a nice touch and staff were attentive. Dinner buffet is expensive but highly recommend it. We had problems with our electronic door lock not opening several times throughout our stay however which was the only negative.

The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and elegant. All the staff are well-trained, polite, and provide excellent hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was only one chair in the room, despite there being two of us.
