“Superb 15th century chateau in 'France Profonde'. The hosts most helpful and welcoming. Beautiful grounds and a large swimming pool. Breakfast served in an elegant dining room, there is a salon for your use too. Would advise booking a restaurant in advance in one of the nearby villages.”

“This is an absolutely delightful little hotel with very warm and welcoming hosts, Vicky and Jean Luc, who went well out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time. Our room was simply lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous with freshly squeezed orange juice, really good coffee and delicious croissants, fruit salads and yoghurts. “This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. Breakfast was served in a charming room downstairs and such care had gone into the selection of……

“Such a tranquil and beautiful place. We had the best night’s sleep for ages because the cave was cool and the air was kept humid to protect the stone. Céline and Stève were lovely - so welcoming. Stève gave us the fascinating history of the place and in the morning Céline had prepared the most delicious home-made breakfast which we ate in the peaceful pretty garden courtyard in front of our cave. Les Troglos is a gem and our stresses melted away.”

“The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower.”
