“This hotel felt very Greek which was a neat experience for our first night in Greece. Would not want to stay longer than one night. Needs upgrades. Close to port which was grea.t ”

“arrived at 2 AM. With two kids who are obviously tired after a day of travel. Got given a room key… Got to the room to find someone else already sleeping inside. Imagine how bad that is from a safety perspective for the person in the room, that the hotel has given a key to their room to total strangers. And then took front desk nearly half an hour to get us into another room, which itself was haphazardly put together. they didn't leave any blankets for our kids, and we asked them to send some……

“It is a very good experience to stay in Varaba Country House. We arrived the airport around 7 pm, and the driver picks us up on time. The house is very nice and new, the driver is so friendly and the dinner prepared by the cook is excellence! Definitely will recommend to friends and re-visit the house. ”

We did not stay in a room that looked anything like the pictures. The wifi would go out constantly. We would have to sit outside our room to get a signal.”

Alex was an amazing and incredibly friendly host, communication through whats app was quick and very detailed. The room was clean, the community is quiet and it was a perk to have a few restaurants only a short walk away. If we ever make it back to Athens we would absolutely stay here again.”

You can see gorgeous sunsets sitting by the pool area in the evening. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast in the morning was a perfect way to start your day. ”
