“We loved our stay at this gem of a BnB. The massive bed and the hearty breakfast gave us the energy to explore the area and made any jet lag a non-issue. Sue and Gary are wonderful hosts and provide as little or as much interaction as you want and were very helpful with ideas for locale, especially dinner. Sawby is a cute English town and the locals were very friendly when we went for walks.”

“This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.”

“This venue has great potential and the new owner and team obviously have an exciting vision for the future. The hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast (included) was very tasty. Attention to detail in the room could have been better. Carpet needed hoovering (and replacing) the bed hadn’t been made and although this was remedied, it looked thrown together. The loo seat was a bit ‘mobile’ and there was no hot water in the shower (apparently the boiler had tripped out).……

“5 stars isn’t enough for Eastdale B&B. The property is immaculate. Liz is an exemplary host. The breakfast was excellent and was all quality ingredients. Parking is easy. I travel extensively for business and Eastdale B&B is the best accommodation I have stayed in for a very long time.”

“The rooms were small but perfectly adequate. The rooms were not air conditioned and as we were there on one of the hottest weekends of the year the room was very hot overnight. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.”

“The room very basic and in need of a refurbishment the carpet was stained with burn marks, the bed very uncomfortable and not the cleanest, the bathroom had stains and was in need of a deep clean, furniture was in serious need of a coat of paint, along with the whole part of the hotel. The Continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The Grab and Go breakfast was a good option too. The Italian Restaurant was great and open for lunch and dinner. Food and Service was excellent. The Cornhill is perfectly located with plenty of shops and places to snack or take away. Plenty a local……
