“Honestly, we expected the hotel to be good, but it actually surpassed our expectations in pretty much every way. Bikes provided by Peter & Rosemary at their wonderful cottage for rent: www.wildportugal.com . The round trip ride from the cottage to Castelo do Vide is about 14 miles and only saw a few cars. Very cool and alien landscape.
