We had traveled 9 hours and went to the restaurant after checking in. It was 830pm and the restaurant did not close until 10. There were 2 people standing at the hostess station. When asked for a table of 4, she said it would be a 30 minute wait. I looked around and saw many many empty tables and not a lot of business. When I reaponded “really?” her reaponse was “ we need to clean the table”. That would have taken 2-3 minutes and it seemed that they did not want the business so we left.

Loved this hotel and staff. I’ve never stayed at (or even heard of the Cottonwood hotel chain), but I’m a huge fan. Excellent rates, clean facility, friendly staff, decent breakfast. I just wish they had more locations!

Very surprised how well kept this hotel was. Usually hotels by the airport aren't that nice. This one was a little under-priced for the rating by others, so had kinda low expectations. Pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it looked. Staff was very helpful. Finally, the breakfast was really one of the better breakfast buffets we had. Scrambled eggs, fried eggs, pork patties & sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy, french toast, muffins, pastry and donuts. The waitress stocking the buffet stopped by our table twice and asked if there was any thing else we'd like. Great place to stay in Louisville that was a great value.

I was on Concierge level - a first for me. The room was amazing! Concierge level had a separate lounge Mon thru Friday for Continental breakfast. On Saturday I had to go to main restaurant for breakfast where it was very understaffed, they ran out of many main items early, they didn’t speak English (cook said 5 minutes for everything and I waited 30 minutes and didn’t get my item; server didn’t understand Earl Gray Tea), and the selections were much less than what was available at concierge even though this was supposed to be buffet. Was extremely surprised at lower quality of paper goods in room. Toilet paper was rough, Kleenex was cheap and stiff.
