"I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway to the wilderness away from the noise and chaos of city life. If you do need anything from town, it’s a relatively simple trip back to Hayward for food or other essentials. I was even able to get instacart delivery when feeling especially lazy. The cabin is on a very large & wooded lot, on the edge of a gorgeous unspoiled lake with a long dock - plenty of privacy. It was very clean and inviting throughout, well stocked with plenty of toiletries, towels, cooking utensils, etc. and books of instructions and local information for every type of trip you could have in mind. It is very large w/three full finished levels, and sleeping arrangements available on each level, so calling it a cabin feels like a bit of an understatement, since I was on a solo trip! I definitely enjoyed the extra feeling of quiet and space. The lack of people/road/airplane sounds and amazingly peaceful atmosphere deep in the woods on the edge of the water was exactly what I was looking for- so much so that I even decided to extend my stay. I could honestly sit on the big screened porch, on the deck, outside the walkout basement level, or out on the dock for hours, just listening to the loons and staring at the stars. Truly fabulous. Also, consistently received very quick and helpful responses from the owner. I know I’ll be looking for another visit here - definitely a 10/10.Thanks again!Melinda "

"We enjoyed our stay, was supposed to be a snowmobile trip, but no snow so we made it a UTV trip. The snowmobile trail is at the end of the driveway which is very convenient. Our host replied fast to all the questions we had. I would stay here again for sleds, but not UTV as it was hard to get around because we could not use the numbered highway and 182 is at the end of the driveway. So, we had to unfortunately use our vehicle to drive around most of the time. "

"Ski slopes were right off the deck. A lot of comfy beds for a big group. We enjoyed the fireplace, sauna and large dining room table for a group. The ski hill had a lot of different runs for all levels. We enjoyed our stay! "
