Great time

Stay away! Terrible experience!
Property does not look like listing. House was smelly, oven dirty, shower curtain moldy, worst of all pool was shared, not at all as listed. No privacy in backyard, basically it's one house separated into a few units to make more money. I could not stay there even one night and left the property. Owner was not responsive or caring at all!

Twin house in a great Location: Rates based on total People. After looking at so many properties it is easy to overlook an important detail like Twin Home and additional guests are an additional charge. We cannot refund once you arrive based on missing the details or that there is no place to sleep for the additional guests.

Relaxing Fun
We really enjoyed having coffee on the canal every morning—lots of bird life. Boys loved the pool & we had some fun basketball games there. Lonnie & team were fantastic! And shout out to Ciao Trattoria—friendly, delicious neighborhood Italian:)

Great get away
We had a great time in sunny Florida. The house was clean and the pool was warm and clean. Any store or restaurant was within walking distance or a very short ride. The ride to sanibel beach was not bad at all. Especially at the 5 o’clock hour when the sun isn’t so strong. The traffic was going the other way and the sunset is beautiful. My only issue was that we would have been feeling more safe with a chain lock on the door where my little ones can’t reach. They were able to open the doors so it was a bit stressful at times with the kids overnight wondering if they got out the door. Another thing was that we didn’t realize the house was a duplex until after I booked it. It ended up perfectly fine and the neighbors didn’t bother us at all but was a surprise at first. Also when I went to check out on paying for the vacation I didn’t realize at first that there was an extra charge for each person staying which made the price just about double what I thought it was. I payed half as much last year for another house similar that was a single family house. I did appreciate the bucket and pails for the kids when they went to the beach. I also appreciated them partly childproofing the house and moving the breakable objects. We didn’t have to move much at all when we got there . Overall we had a great time and we did not want to leave . We had a great time at bowmans beach, lakes park and Naples zoo and the pool was wonderful too!

Spring break with the kids

Nice stay; updates needed
This was a nice place to stay and have a pool for entertainment while we cooked. We are a family that is financially minded, so we can take multiple vacations a year. Thus, we cook as many meals as possible at the houses we stay. That said, the kitchen could use updates as pans are old and coating is flaking, which is not healthy. Cleanliness could use some work as floors were dirty. Not sure if it was the area rugs or the floor, but my feet picked up dirt when walking barefoot.

Comfortable stay
The unit was comfortable for our stay; conveniently located for our son’s college baseball showcase events in Fort Myers; Sabrina was terrific - responsive & friendly. Our only surprise was that it’s a duplex with a shared pool. May we suggest that it’s more clearly & directly stated in the property description? Otherwise, good stay!

Met all our needs
This property was on the small size but met all our needs. The pool was great and we really lucked out with the weather. Very good location for entertainment and restaurants. On a busy street so not very peaceful. We had a problem with dirty screens and ants, but this was immediately taken care of. I would suggest upgrading the mattresses, adding some sharp knives in the kitchen, adding tv to bedrooms and tv channels.

End of Canal
A bit dated, but decent for our needs. Beds were comfortable. It's attached to another property, which I was unaware of, but it didn't effect our stay. It's near a busy street, this didn't effect sleeping, just noisy while outside. It's on the very end of a canal, which seemed to be where all liter gathered. We never sat by the canal, it was pretty gross. The pool was warm and nice. Very basic channels, couldn't watch the bowl games, no ESPN. Internet connection was very spotty while outside. There are good restaurants and bars in the area.

I really needed time to get away and enjoy quality time with my family, not only is this place in a private area, but it was accommodating for all of our needs! Nice big pool and the temperature was just right.we also played volleyball! a new grill that we used the whole time, and we rented kayaks me and the kids had such a relaxing wonderful time! It is a really nice place to stay and I will be booking with this company from now On! Glad I could find something as nice as this!

Yacht Club Villa
The villa was very spacious and would be great for a family or a few couples. We enjoyed the large lanai and pool. However, it is located next to a busy road which made it quite noisy. The other issues are that the window blinds are very thin so you’re going to be an early riser whether you like it or not. It also was not especially clean & floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in a long time. Suggest they get a new cleaning crew.

Good property for kids
Property is good for families and kids. Lots of room for sleeping. Kitchen is a little cramped but we would always grab our food and head out to the lanai. Does need a deep cleaning though. Bathrooms needed some work and the floor was not the cleanest. Also some tripping hazards at night. This could be taken care of with a couple night lights. Traffic along busy street was noticeable at night but didn't keep me awake. Was able to rent a boat and dock right in the back. Overall a good deal and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The screened in porch and pool area were lovely. The pool was warm and relaxing. We enjoyed being out there as the sun set. The house was clean and the beds were very comfy. It's a little dated and not fancy, but it fit our needs perfectly. The area was safe with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Just a short drive down the road was a beach on the river with a fun tiki hut bar and pier. Neighbors were nice too. Thanks. Ellen

Beautiful Pool and Nice Location
The villa on Victoria Drive was in a great location. The 7 Eleven was a block down, the Winn Dixie super market was 8 blocks away and several restaurants and bars near by. The salt water pool and lanai were lovely and we enjoyed visiting with the couple in the adjoining villa when we all gathered at the pool. The villa is on the corner of a major thoroughfare, so there is lots of street noise when you are outside. My brother, sister-in-law, husband and myself spent much time in the new addition that adjoined the lanai. It held the queen and full beds and extra living room furniture. With that being said, the villa needed some upkeep. The handbook with numbers to call for help needs updated. The listed number I kept calling was in Minnesota. The listed local number was for a gentleman who never responded to my call. I must commend Antoinette and Kristian, the young women who were contacted by the owners and who responded to our requests. I got their number from our neighbors for future reference and added their names and number to the hand book. They were very polite and accommodating. We discovered on our first full day there that the water filter in the frig needed replaced. In the process of replacing the filter, we were informed that the washing machine had overflowed for the previous tenants and would require repair. The pool heater was not working, the front porch and lanai lights and fans did not work. We only had 3 hand towels and 3 washcloths and no dish washing cloths. When I reported the problems, they were immediately addressed and arrangements were made for repair. We did get another hand towel and dish cloth, but I never did get a wash cloth. On our second Tuesday, we had friends over for a cook out and to swim. In the middle of the afternoon, Antoinette and a man came to treat the pool and we were asked to vacate the pool and stay out for 30 minutes. When we asked twice if it could be done later or if we could do it ourselves after our company left, we were told no. We understand that the pool needed treatment, but it would have been nice if it could have been scheduled later in the afternoon. The bathrooms need to be updated and polished up a bit. There is rust in the shower and bathtub. As others have mentioned, your bare feet will be black due to tile floors. That just can’t be helped. We enjoyed our two weeks and it was a convenient location, but the property needs better maintenance.

Clean, great location, awesome pool!
We really liked the property and thought it had just about everything we needed. Although I think it would be nice to have a TV in the front King bedroom. Beds were comfortable too. Great to have your own heated pool. Short walk to the Yacht Club, Boathouse Tiki Bar and a brewery or two. Lots of restaurants in the general vicinity. We loved sitting down on the chairs by the water at night.

A diamond in the rough
I was pleasantly suprised how quiet the neighborhood was except your usual smalltown traffic. Did not know it was a side by side townhome but did not even notice when we did have neighbors staying next door. We indulged in the heated saltwater pool after a long day of going out every evening. There was also always something new to discover while hanging out on the dock every morning. All tile floors made it easier for cleanup especially with kids. Oversized couches were a plus. Beds were comfy but corners on one of the footboards was a bit pointy... especially felt in the dark. This place was perfect for our family of 5. Jack, the groundskeeper, introduced himself and made sure we were all settled in ok. He is a friendly dude who you can tell cares for the property very well and is very attentative to anything you may need help with while still maintaining a level of professionalism. We would definitely come back & stay here the next time we visit this area.

Comfy beds and a pool too.!!
It was a quick boys golf weekend and the place was perfect for us. Golf in the morning, pool in the afternoon, dinner out. Only down side was there is only 1 television and the renters before us I was told stole the electric eye for the cable so all we had was Netflix. That being said we only watched 1/2-1 hour of 📺 and played backgammon instead. Maintenance guy said he would repair after our short 3 night stay.

Dowdy property extensively upgraded. Suitable for a family or group as well as smaller numbers.
We were a little taken aback by the size of the furniture- large.- and the comparatively small amount of lounging space vs bedrooms. The hosts were very attentive and the location very central.

Pretty good, but some issues
Overall this is a nice place and great location and very friendly caretaker named jack! A few issues we had were the floors were extremely dirty. You have to wear flip flops the whole time or your feet turn black! Also the pool was dirty (brown ring around the whole thing and some algae growing). The layout of the house is rather strange too. Outside the guest window is a wall. But the beds were comfy and the appliances are new and nice.

Thank you for your comments; I will try to adjust your concerns. I assure you the first 90 days of the new pool has been an adjustment for everyone. We asked for a more contemporary color opposed to the traditional aqua blue. The Beige back round with natural pebble aggregate dose appear brown and the water has a green hue to the color of the water. Based on the feedback we have already received we have priced refinishing it. However, the $6,000 price is going to have to wait. We have our water tested every Monday at the local Pool store on Cape Coral Pkwy. All records are on file and chemistry is adjusted accordingly. This is something we take very seriously. Please keep in mind my family uses this pool as well. This year we have been booked almost every day I will ask our housekeeping staff to re-double their efforts and pay extra attention to the items you mentioned, such as the floors and bath-tub. I want to thank you and all of our guests for a great start to the new year. VRBO s Key Metrics is telling us (We’re outperforming 97% of our market) We couldn’t do this without your support.

Decent Place for a Good Price
We stayed here near the end of March (about the end of the Spring Break rush). All things considered, we got a decent place to stay for 5 nights at a competitive price. Lodging is expensive in the Fort Myers area in March, so this was cheaper than staying in a nice hotel. However, we were disappointed a bit and felt like the place fell short. The Good: - The pool is screened in (no bugs) and was nice to have. It's heated, which made it a little too warm in the day but was really nice at night. - Location - within walking distance to a main street with lots of restaurants and bars; also can walk (~2 miles) to the beach and pier; has backyard access to Cape Coral's canal system. - Kitchen is in good shape and was supplied with pots and pans that were in great condition - Never saw the neighbors. The unit is a duplex and the pool is shared between the two units. We never the people renting out the other unit and we always had the pool to ourselves. The Bad: - Noise - Property is on the corner of a very busy street and a quiet residential street. If you're in the pool, every 10 min or so you hear a loud car or motorcycle go screaming by. Didn't notice it from inside the house. Didn't bother us much. - Cleanliness. It appears the place is cleaned quickly. The floors (all tile) probably haven't been mopped in a really long time. My feet were always dark on the bottom from walking around inside barefoot and you can feel the dirt on the floors when barefoot. - Bathrooms were unimpressive both with updates and cleanliness. Our tub was rusting, there appeared to be soap scum in places, the shower heads were a bit crusty. You didn't look forward to showers, that's for sure. - Nosy property manager. The property manager pops in almost daily unannounced. He had to put the garbage bins out on Sunday morning? (garbage trucks came Monday evening) You just get the sense he's keeping a close eye on you, trying to catch you sneaking extra people or pets into the place. It feels a bit intrusive. When booking the place, the guy I was talking to kind of passive aggressively said that he always finds out if people break the rules and then they just charge the credit card for it. Overall, I would liken the place to a 2-star hotel with a good pool. In comparison to what else you can find in the area, this is definitely a cheaper option. Good option for a trip to Fort Myers area that doesn't break the bank.

Loved this place and would definitely stay there again!
This was just as advertised. We stayed here for a short beach/warm weather getaway. It's a duplex but you don't even notice the people next door (although we enjoyed meeting them). It's near a busy street but you don't even hear the traffic. The pool is awesome. The living quarters were great. There were 5 adults in our group - one couple and 3 individuals - and we all had our own sleeping spaces. We went to Ft. Myers Beach, Siesta Key, Captiva Island, and Sanibel Island during our stay. We had to drive a bit to each location but not too far and it was totally worth it. The owners were easy to work with and everything was exactlhy as advertised. Everything about our stay was just awesome and we'd totally rent this place again.

Fantastic!
My friend and I came to Fort Myers to celebrate her birthday, and we were thrilled with our accommodations. The saltwater pool was such a treat that we seriously considered not even bothering with the beach. The public beach at the Yacht Club was wonderful - so close, easy and free parking, and next to the Boathouse bar. There are also gems of small restaurants & bars close by. The caretaker, Jack, stopped by several times to make sure all was well, and it certainly was. We'd read that others were somewhat bothered with the street noise, but we didn't really notice it much outside, and not at all inside (we were on the side farther from it). The property was very clean and well maintained. Well worth the convenience provided.
From beginning to end the property suited our needs. Excellent location for people of any age- close to everything. The property manager was always available, as was the owner.

We had a great time, and this property met all of our needs and expectations.
Headed to the Gulf Coast for a much needed ladies' retreat. The location allowed us to explore a variety of beaches and locations. The property was clean, for the most part, but the tile floors could have used a good scrubbing. Nothing obvious to the eye, but definitely evident when walking around in bare feet. The kitchen was equipped with the basics that we needed for the minimal amount of cooking we did. If you're planning to eat all meals at home, you may want to bring some of your favorites, though we were definitely able to make due. This property met all of our needs. The maintenance man checked on us twice, and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had throughout the experience. The other reviews were helpful in letting us have an adequate picture of what to expect. The photos were spot-on. This property is by no means lavish, but it's of great quality for the price we paid, giving us exactly what we needed. Thank you!
