it was great that it was pet, friendly, however the floor we stayed on smelled horrible .. the room was extremely dusty the carpet in the room looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a while.

Property is a beautiful old mansion. It’s in excellent condition. Pam at Reception was outstanding! I strongly recommend avoiding a room on 1st floor. Room was beautiful however so damp that our towels were wet and had to be changed out. Other guests in same floor said they experienced same issue. Also quite a walk into historic district and riverfront. Were walkers so it was fine but if you’re not into walking several miles a day I’d rethink the location. Again, the beauty of the building is outstanding but choose your room wisely depending on the season
