The owner, Tina, was very attentive, friendly and helpful - from local sightseeing recommendations to a lovely breakfast with locally sourced items. Bed was comfortable, good shower, rooms were spacious - for a building of this age - and parking was on site and easy. If you like the photos, it definitely looks like them, and I would heartily recommend.”

“The chateau is beatiful and the dinner was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at dinner. The food was sooo good and the staff made the night so fun. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and they made it so special!! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were a little disappointed we weren't in the chateau. I misunderstood what our room name was and didn't realize it meant we were in an annex building and not the chateau itself. So that was a let down. But……

“We arrived at 8pm, having called in advance to advise of our arrival time. We had booked a table in the restaurant at 8.30pm (the final sitting according to the website). We were disappointed to hear the restaurant was shut when we arrived. We were offered no refreshments (our booking stated a welcome drink)- the village was very quiet with only a burger place open so we had very little choice to get something to eat. Would not return.”

"We had a large room with queen-size bed, the bathroom was massive with a large hand basin but no shelves to put your toiletry bag, so I had to put it outside the bathroom. In my 40+ years of travelling around, it’s the first time a hotel doesn’t offer cups for rinsing teeth, or even for drinking. No hairdryer again, and I only realised after washing my hair after midnight. A room opposite us made squeaky noise every now and then, it was loud enough to wake us up early in the morning. Please lubricate all the doors🙏"
