Thin walls, manufactured building feel throughout (floors were echoey and did not feel well constructed, we could hear the TV from everyone’s rooms just walking down the halls) and was over $140 per night on Expedia. Went down for the free breakfast and there was hardly anything left. No soap shelves in the shower (they had been pulled off or fell off and there were markings on the shower wall from where they had been). Had to put our soap and……

“There are several long term renters. It’s a rough crowd. The lamp by the bed was busted. Water taps switched. Evidence of recent fumigation. It felt like someone had just moved out. I’m fine with less than standard accommodations but I felt like I was likely to be part of a crime scene. My wife warned me not to come home with bedbugs. So, as quickly as I unloaded the car, I packed it back up and hit the road. If you’re on the lam from the law, this might be a fine place to hide out. I just……
