It’s the oldest in the city, as explained to be by the incredibly friendly and helpful guy on reception when I arrived. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much travel. The room was spotless and the air conditioning worked well. It was great after a long journey to be shown that there was complimentary coffee and cake which could be eaten in delightful courtyard. Breakfast was also of a very high standard. "Visited on the offseason and loved it. Hotel was well kept with all modern conveniences. Staff were friendly. We had the island almost to ourselves which allowed us to see more during nature hikes and had dinner in town where the locals embraced us so as to make us feel most welcome."

"Liked that we had a spacious suite with a terrace. However, property on the whole was quite dated. Room had a damp smell and we had to ask staff to empty the fridge, as it was full of someone else's food including half a packet of smelly meatballs. Breakfast options fairly limited and coffee cold - they did have a gluten free roll for me on request but no other gluten free options."
