"Struttura molto carina, completamente sttezzaga. terrazza spettacolare ed ottimo il parcheggio. Proprietario molto gentile e disponibile. Nei dintorni c’è un supermercato ed a pochi passi un ristorante tipico molto buono. Unico neo, in struttura non c’era l’asciugacapelli ma è colpa mia per non aver chiesto prima dell’arrivo. Consiglio vivamente! ☺️"

"As there aren’t many hotel options in the area, and most others are quite expensive, this place is a great find. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it offers beautiful sunset views, and if you’re staying in Room 3, you'll have a great view of Le Morne. It’s within walking distance of a grocery store and Kind Coffee shop, which my Le Morne guide said was the best coffee he had in Mauritius. This is a great base for exploring the southwest of the island. The only downside was a foul smell near the toilet."

"An ocean view room was reserved for my parents at the Sugar Beach hotel. They were celebrating their Golden (50th) anniversary. Initially they were given a room that was very far from the reception and required climbing stairs and didn't provide a clear ocean view (something we paid for). Also, they were not provided with drinking water in their rooms. On top of this, their in-room phone did not work. They were eventually moved to a better room on the ground floor, but the staff and service had already scarred the experience at the hotel. Prior to their stay at Sugar Beach, they stayed at the Le Meridien, where the staff, the service, the location were all top notch. The day and night difference between the two hotels made it worse at Sugar Beach. Will not be booking Sugar Beach Hotel again. "
