“Needs updating. The rooms rug was torn, couldn’t use the TV. Couldn’t even watch the morning news. The air conditioner was loud and couldn’t find a switch or way to turn on lights by the nightstand.”

“This is such a great place! It was perfect for our family of 4. Our 14 and 12 year old loved the loft space, and my husband and I were super comfy in the bedroom. The lower level was great for family time in the evening, and where we all hung out at the end of the day. The property surrounding was so peaceful and helped us feel completely relaxed. We have land at Lake Carroll, and this was an easy 20 minute drive. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back!”

“We rented for a week in April. Only got to use the hot tub once due to the weather. But it was very nice. Do wish it had a screen for privacy. The house was nice but could use some updating. We had trouble with the tv's. The one in bedroom & game rm didn't work. And the one in living rm had a loud buzzing sound at times. Also the stairs are very steep. However the bedrooms were nice & beds comfortable. And Brian was always quick to respond to any questions we had & very nice. Galena is a great...

“Great home and property. Yard space for outdoor games. Game room was a plus for fun, family competition. The home was clean ,spacious and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. We loved the deck for outdoor conversations and dining. We rented a pontoon so the short walk to the marina was a definite plus. The lake is beautiful. The host, Marissa, was available for any questions/concerns. Very quiet in the evenings and the lake is not overcrowded.”

“Winding driveway with limited turn around space can be very challenging especially in the dark. Garage entrance and stairs to living quarters are not ideal. It’s not a bad house but probably would not be on my list of places I would go back to rent again. It was pet friendly and that was the primary reason I chose plus proximity to another house we rented for family with no pets. ”
