“The location of Lions Beach Motel is hard to beat. It was close to everything we wanted to explore, and getting around was quick and easy. The room was clean, and Rohit was a super helpful host who was always available if we needed anything. My only suggestion would be to add air conditioning. We visited during 30°C+ weather, and the room got quite warm. we were sleepless through the night although we were provided with extra fans when asked for. “I needed a no-frills place to sleep so I could pick up campers at Camp Celtic. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable enough, the air conditioning worked really awesome, and there was a fridge, microwave, and Kettle. The cupboard stored extra pillows and a blanket. I had more than enough towels and hand towels, a bathmat and face cloths. Water pressure and temperature was great. “We stayed in the Dreamers Studio, the kitchen could do with a good cleaning, and if you were planning on making a meal you would have to bring your own pots and pans as there was only one worn out frying pan and one pot. On the good side the outdoor property was beautiful, and well maintained.”

“This property is old, poorly-maintained and is truly a “roadside motel” in every sense! It’s about as basic as you can get. Admittedly, I don’t stay in roadside motels often unless desperate to find a place to stay, but this place was the worst motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The television in our room didn’t work, the WIFI didn’t work, the refrigerator was warm, and when I called “front desk” to get help with anything you get a voice message that says they’re closed! “The whole property is really nice, retro vibes! The rooms were spacious and super cute with a lot of attention to little details: neon signs, retro radio, wine glasses, balcony hammock, retro mini fridge and the cutest little bottle opener we wish we could’ve kept! The staff was amazing! We just had to text them and they would bring what we needed; steamer, ice, etc. the s'mores and fire pits were a great way to end the nights, the pool was heated which was a bonus! Another plus is it’s a short……

“Property smelled musky and was Not very clean. towel rod pulled off the wall when placing a towel to ret on it. You could see the rod was installed several times incorrectly. The employees had a camp fire out back and left food and garbage all around to attract bears and Racoons. Only had sheer curtains that would allow anyone to look into the property at night. The front staff had an attitude. It was expensive for what you get. Will NEVER be back to rent here”
