Obviously not a luxurious room but I received a amazing service, the location was really good for me since it’s only 1h from tobermory and 15 min drive from sauble beach. its also a really decent price ! I recommend for one or two nights
We stayed for 2 nights and we enjoyed it. The owners are very nice. Quiet and beautiful sorroundings. Room is clean with everything we need like TV, microwave, fridge and kettle.
Comes with an outdoor patio which is very convenient and nice to have the option to relax and soak in soe food weather .. the owner is friendly and polite
No frills accommodation. Well worth if you travel on a budget. Room was clean with a basic set up and all the essential appliances.
The motel manager very friendly.
If I revisit the area I might use it again.
We got the room with 2 double beds. The room needed a bit of maintenance, but was pretty nice. Lots to watch on TV. Picnic tables and a barbeque outside, though we didn't use them. The woman in the office was very friendly. 🙂 I would stop there again.
It served a purpose. The room was damp. Bathroom needed some attention. Broken tiles kinds thing. Not very clean. Hair in both sink and shower.
They did have a kettle and two cups which is great if you drink tea but no tea bags etc. You need to bring your own. Bed was comfortable and the sheets and pillows were good.
Stayed for one evening. Easy parking and check in/out. Bed sheets were clean. We were welcomed by a large centipede and larger spider in the washroom. When we asked for insecticide we became equipped with a fly swatter! There were also mosquitoes, flies and some other crawling insects in the room. The air conditioning unit was very loud. We decided to turn it off and sleep in the hot room. The mattress was super bouncy. The slightest movement of my partner bounced me up and vice versa. The extra Pillow(case) was smelly. Overall do not recommend.
Not great.
Everything was clean though.
Deadbolt didn't line up. Doorknob didn't latch securely. Didn't notice this until the next day.
After notifying the owners, there was a lack of urgency in the matter.
Issue was resolved that day and the locks were then working as expected.
Spring bed is sinking in. Should be replaced.
Room felt damp, but after running the AC unit to dehumidify it was fine.
Shower curtain is too high, so water splashes onto the bathroom floor. Fan obviously doesn't move enough air, so best to keep the bathroom door open.
Wifi signal was weak, but the provided Roku TV system worked perfectly well.
This motel provides the bare-minimum.
This should be your last resort choice or lowest price choice.
Ensure the deadbolt works and you're fine.

Everything about this place was ok. Nothing stood out as amazing or terrible. It suited our needs, which was simply a room for one night near a race my husband was doing.
Plenty of parking. Great location. It's a 1 star motel, you must know that. But if it is only to sleep the night, it's ok.
I gets really expensive during peak season, which makes you feel scammed, but it is all about offer and demand.
Rooms were ok. Hidden charges we didn't know about were charged at our arrival. That wasn't the issue. The hot smelled like sewage. When we turn the hot water either in shower or basin the entire room filled by the
I needed a no-frills place to sleep so I could pick up campers at Camp Celtic. My room was very clean, the bed was comfortable enough, the air conditioning worked really awesome, and there was a fridge, microwave, and Kettle. The cupboard stored extra pillows and a blanket. I had more than enough towels and hand towels, a bathmat and face cloths. Water pressure and temperature was great.
The other guests were quiet, respectful, and friendly, the patio area was clean and welcoming, chairs and picnic tsbles with umbrellas provided. Checkin and checkout were seamless and the owners were great.
If I have to say one negative, the toilet is really close to the wall in this unit. 😆
I appreciated the affordable price and cleanliness the most!
Wifi is the best inside the room and cell service is hit or miss.. even in town.
Thanks for a great stay!
