The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. I was able to get a good night sleep and I usually can't sleep good in an any hotel.

The hotel is really top notch and in an historic building. Beautifully maintained. Parking is a bit expensive. Nice casual restaurant in the lobby floor has a good selection for breakfast, lunch, etc.

This property seems to have just been changed over to a Wyndham. Surface level things looked good. Lobby was clean, front desk was attentive. Our room was fairly quiet and the a/c worked well. Our room had some issues: weird smell, possibly paint/construction related; window covering didn't move up or down; bathroom door was a slider and squeaked incredibly loud each time; shower had just been redone and there were large gaps between the tile and wall and also pencil marks from where the workers had done installations. I was disappointed that I paid for the Wyndham brand and did not feel that we received that level of quality in our stay.

Despite high marks on this stay it’s important that management addresses the fact that there were no safety grab bars anywhere in or near the tub shower and only a plastic shower curtain to perhaps catch if you slipped on the extremely slick bath tub. They might save money in the long run using non slip ribbing on the tub surface as well as installing grab bars. So a fail in terms of handicapped accessibility in the bath area.
