I stayed at Maverick Apartments Budapest recently and had a decent overall experience. The room itself was okay — not amazing, but not bad either. The building is clearly quite old and historic, which gives it character, but it also explains why the rooms probably aren’t heavily renovated. Because of that, some things felt a bit worn. The washroom had a strong smell, and the toilet flush button was broken during my stay. I assume these issues come with maintaining an older property, though they were still noticeable. On the positive side, the location is excellent — you’re basically close to everything, which makes exploring the city very convenient. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which definitely improved the stay. Overall, it’s a reasonable place if you mainly want a great location and don’t mind a few imperfections in the room.

Very clean hotel and rooms, excellent shower, ok breakfast some staff very good (the restaurant manager was supper) others ok. We had an issue with hot water during our stay.

A spacious studio apartment with a window overlooking the central Bazilic Square. The kitchenette is fantastic: it features a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and even a little stovetop for preparing breakfast. Cookware is provided, and the cherry on top is the private bathroom.

Good location. Staff were polite and professional. Good breakfast choices. Comfortable beds.

The Junior Suite was spacious with a mattress that's the perfect balance of firm and soft. Ample wardrobe space and a generous supply of hangers. The TV supports screen mirroring, and the bathroom is bright and spotless with premium toiletries.The breakfast was top-notch. Hot Chocolate is incredibly rich and intense. The made-to-order breakfast menu is exquisite, offering an extensive selection of dishes. The Spa was clean, spacious, and relaxing.
