Woodcutter's cottage - come to enjoy the bush, peace & quiet

10/10 Excellent
"Just perfect. Exactly how we imagined a woodcutters cottage in Dwellingup to be. Loved it. Easy walk into town. Plenty of firewood provided. Sitting on front verandah was great for enjoying the serenity and bird watching in the garden. Highly recommended."

"Ballakup house is a lovely place to stay. It is in a beautiful setting surrounded by native bush and has a wonderful outlook out the front. It is very spacious and well appointed. We enjoyed playing games in the evening, it was nice to be off a screen!Jarrahdale has lots of beautiful walks and places to see. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts who replied promptly and were very friendly. They provided a very helpful, interactive email about the house and Jarrahdale. Thanks :)"

Bright & Beautiful Home on the Hills!

Bright & Beautiful Home on the Hills!

10/10 Excellent
"Great spot, everything you need for a little getaway. Loved the wildlife, roos, ducks, frogs, birds, was lovely sitting on the front balcony watching and listening and chatting. Comfy beds, and loved the reclining lounge chairs. Everything you need in the kitchen and the shower was great. Was a little hard to to work out how to get out the back area, there some steps out the back on the right. Shops not far away, some lovely cafes and restaurants not far away and easy to get to."

When is the best time to go to Mount Cooke?
The best time to visit Mount Cooke for hiking and outdoor activities is during the cooler, drier months of April to October.During these months, the weather is generally mild, with clear skies and less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the trails and enjoying the natural surroundings.
