Helpful & friendly staff. Very good buffet breakfast. Rooms a good size, clean & with excellent bathrooms. Public areas do need refurbishing & the sauna wasn’t working. Character hotel, well placed for sightseeing.

Clean and well positioned hotel for exploring the city.
Rooftop bar wasn't open during our stay which was a shame.
Breakfast was good and staff very friendly. Would stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Callas House! The highlight was our room’s private rooftop terrace overlooking the beautiful Hungarian State Opera House—what an incredible view and such a special place to sit and enjoy Budapest!
And LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! We were within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, historic sights, the Danube River and so much more. The Hop-On Hop-Off bus was also very convenient, making it incredibly easy to explore the city.
Callas House has so much character and was a wonderful home base for our time in Budapest. Between the beautiful historic setting, fantastic location and that amazing terrace, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice.
We would absolutely stay here again!
