Love this place and happy to be going there since it opened over 30 years ago It’s changed overtime with multiple different owners. Overall, this pace is still to out liking despite lack of the woodburning for our place, the resort fee and more recently the parking fee. In this particular case, the checkout staff was rude. We Asked for a late checkout (Mothers Day). After almost being berated, we were begrudgingly given until 11:30 AM. Then, I went from the front desk to the room and the key didn’t work. Then housekeeping knocked. This is on a Sunday so you know it’s not busy on a Sunday night. Not normal but annoying.

Location was excellent. The noisy sea lion won’t let you enjoy the view nor will make you sleep. They offer ear buds to help with the noise but I would like to sleep as natural as possible. The mattress was like tempurpredic- not for me so I wasn’t able to sleep at all. Valet parking is a must and it’s doable at $15/day.

Great location on a quiet street for kids to enjoy running around. Lots of trails nearby. Love the views out the front windows. Kitchen could use a few more essentials. Grocery store is not close so stock up before settling in. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back.
