"The view is fantastic, and the management is very professional and helpful before, during and after your stay. Also, the yard in front is big and has a lot of toys and equipment for kids and family to use. The one thing I would take note of is that you cannot control the room heat on your own, because it is a pension and not a hotel. "First, I know minimal korean, and I am a vegetarian who don't eat onion garlic, but dairy products is fine. From Jamsil station Exit 5, walk till you see a signage says 7000 on one side, there will be a queue, and tell the driver you're going to Seorak Bus Terminal(1st Stop!) Try catch it at 1230pm (or even earlier for seats) to catch the shuttle bus(location to wait @ see 1st photo) to the village otherwise cabbing there is approx. 30,000 won. The bus ride approx. 1 hr, and wait for shuttle...

"Exceptional, peaceful sanctuary with view of the lake. Very clean. Nice deco. Pristine condition. 3 min walk to emart. No eateries nearby. Roads are not v walkable as there is no pedestrain walkway. Few street lights at night. Cabs easily available with Kakao T app. The lady who checked us in was v kind, helpful and caring. Speaks very good English. Enjoyed our stay. Will come again in autumn. Take note there are no elevators but staff offered to help with our luggages."
