4. Modern Lakeview 4-Bedroom-Apartment

Modern Lakeview 4-Bedroom-Apartment
Romanshorn
6.0 out of 10, (3 reviews)
"I stayed here with 7 other people and one of the bedrooms was really only a storage room behind another bedroom with no windows and just a sofa. We didn’t have enough blankets for everyone and most importantly the apartment is on the top floor and therefore absolutely boiling even with all the windows open and fans blowing. For the price, it is simply not worth it. It’s in a nice location but I would never stay there in the summer again."

"The property was a basement flat beneath the owner's property, and was equipped to a modern standard, with off-street parking. There was an outside covered terrace but no dining table for when wet (which it was). It was however very good value for the area and in a pleasant village above the lake with good restaurant in village nearby."

"Pros: The apartment was clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect, very close to the shore and a pleasant, short walk to the centre. The parking space at the apartment was convenient, and large enough that it was ok to leave bikes on back of car. The communication with the hosts was prompt, easy, and clear. "It was really strange and inconvenient that there was no one at the “reception” desk after 15:00. And the young woman at the restaurant on the main floor said she didn’t know anything about the hotel. We found our reservation slip and our keys and let ourselves into the room. Later in the evening, the girl who did not know anything suddenly knew enough to make sure we paid. Very odd."
